Comments about Hohner 250/32 Chrometta 8 Harmonica:

I am not a great harmonica player, but I have been at it all of my life, and I own many different types and use them daily. I mostly favor 10-hole diatonics and tremolos for the style of music that I play. I do enjoy my Hohner Chromatic 270. So it occurred to me that the Chrometta 8 might be the perfect travel harp. I like the size and the tone, and it feels good in the hands. But it seems to be a bit leaky and awkward to play, with a long slide travel and an unusual spacing. I find myself searching for notes that come naturally to me on my Chromatic 270. It does fit easily into a jacket pocket, and is a welcome companion on a trip. Sometimes it seems to be finnicky with certain notes. This could be a windsaver problem on my particular harp. All things considered, I'm glad to own it. It will just take us time to become good friends...

Comments about Hohner 250/32 Chrometta 8 Harmonica:

I had a stoke almost three yers ago. I played guitar. I play jazz. I needed to find an instrument that I can do with just one hand. This baby, the Hohner 250/32 Chrometta 8 Harmonica,is it. It sounds wonderful. I got some really good harp books and am enjoy a real instrument again.

Sounds Great, Plays Easy...

Comments about Hohner 250/32 Chrometta 8 Harmonica:

This harp sounds pretty close to a standard 10-hole diatonic in a chromatic package. It plays easily and has a warm, rich tone. Cleaning is easier than any other chromatic I've ever had. It's not great for orchestral music because the range isn't broad enough. But for most jazz, rock, pop, etc., there's nothing better to play along to the radio while driving.
