      OVERVIEW

Double rows of 24 notes create a full sound that'll inspire the budding player.

The Hohner Weekender 24 Tremolo Harmonica is excellent for beginners seeking to create tremolo effects that normally come only to more experienced players. Tuned to the key of C, the secret of this harp is its double rows of 12 holes each, all encased in smooth plastic comb. Each row is tuned to the same notes with the top row tuned ever so slightly higher. Much like having 2 singers, these 2 rows of holes create a lush vibrato that works well in so many styles of music from gospel to folk. The Weekender also makes a perfect gift for anyone that might enjoy making a smooth and luxuriant sound.

Comments about Hohner Weekender 24 Tremolo Harmonica:

I have some experience with 10 hole diatonic harmonicas, wanted to try out tremelo. I like it for playing some folk and country songs.

Comments about Hohner Weekender 24 Tremolo Harmonica:

This is a good harmonica for the price. look for it on sale at about 1/2 the price of the suzuki or the celeste. It almost apears to be the same as the Celeste without the slick covers and the soft cary case. The main difference in a cheap harmonica is usualy it is only available in a basic key or two so you can't collect a set. Buy the C and try it. Play the top set of reeds and it will bend and overblow much like any cheap hohner then you have the tremelo on both keys. Kind of neet. Try one.
