I am berry satisfied with it. I expected it to sound less like a kazoo and more like white noise with the distortion on, but I still like its sound more than accoustic kazoos.
It does have a very thin cord, and a very long one at that. Very tangled. But the cord should be easily enough replaced. A wire that has a thick plug (for the amplifier) on one end and a thin plug (the kind headphones have) for the kazoo end is what you need.

I played this through a crate vc58 and fender twin reissue. Through either amp, the tone was low mid heavy and lacking in the upper mid range that i associate with kazoo. There seemed to be a mismatch between the impedance of the mic and what the amps wanted that caused a lot of the treble to be shunted to ground.The cable is the lowest quality cable i have ever seen. It is so thin it became tangled over and over while i was using it and shorted out after catching on the neck of my guitar. Unlike a hohner kazoo the membrane cannot be adjusted or replaced. The kazoo was dead after the membrane got wonky. It would have been easily fixed if the cap could be removed. You could play a kazoo through any other dynamic mic and get a better sound. an xlr to 1/4 cable would allow a person to run any dynamic mic through effects pedals and amps as many vocalist already know. There are a lot of cheapo dynamics with a built in 1/4" cable on them already.
