I still have my Musicians Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case. By the looks it, I'm convinced that unless someone drops it over a cliff, into the ocean or in the path of a car, truck or trailer, there it will provide plenty more years of use. The Musicians Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case still provides an excellent means of transporting my harmonicas and keeps them organized. Being as disorganized as I can be, this product has already paid for itself! By the way, there is another brand which markets a hardshell harmonica case, but with a much higher price tag. I refuse to knock a brand-name which markets great musical instruments, so I will refrain from naming names, but if you would rather put Leo's grandchildren through college than to save a lot of money, then don't buy this or any products from Musician's Gear.

Lee Oskar and Hohner sell this as a kit or by itself. That doesn't mean it's of good quality. The Hohner C12 is more appropriate if you want to hold one set of all 12 keys. I would have prefered the C12 but it doesn't hold anything else then harps.

I was not looking for the perfect case, but for something to hold all of my harps as well as my neck holder, tools, cloths and some papers.

There is room left for a large mike and cable.

I did not read all reviews before I purchased this one. I should have known that the harps would not hold in boxes and the fur does not magicaly holds everything in place.

As many stated, harps become piled up after handling this case no matter how you toss them out.

It took 5 minutes to solve the problem. I added some carboard separators and it now holds everything tight. It Holds only 18 harps instead of 20 once the seperators are in. But with the home made seperators, the instruments remain in their proper place, no ratling, no piling up.

This case is worth buying. Its well priced and gets the job done. My harps weren't banging all over the place which was a concern. It keeps everything in one case and serves its purpose well.

                handy harp case

                By fatenorse

                from Nova Scotia, Canada

Comments about Musician's Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case:

The Musician's Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case is a pretty simple thing, after all. No real surprises, just a simple, convenient case, typical in quality of most Chinese manufactured cases I've encountered. They're not perfect in form or fit, but they work; that's the trade-off one should expect for getting something like this so affordably. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it fits my Behringer Eurorack M 602A mini-mixer like it was designed for it. I'm guessing other small mixers would work well in here, too. Handy, indeed!

                Not a good buy

                By Cyarb

                from Texas

Comments about Musician's Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case:

Where the ends are sewn on the outside edges of the case, the vinyl came apart where one of the brads was missing. I can't keep my harps in order because they fall all over the place and rattle inside the case as there are no slots. I wish I had followed the advice in some of the reviews I had read and not made the purchase.

Comments about Musician's Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case:

Got this for my birthday, thought it was great till I put my harps in and there was no slots for them, they just rub against each other and fall all over inside when you carry it. When I closed and latched it there was enough warpage across the front for my Hoo Doo microphone to fall out. I was very disappointed and sent it back.

                Will Take A Beating

Comments about Musician's Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case:

I got this case about a year ago when I found I had way too many harps and no where to put them. When I got the case some of the leather on the sides was peeling off, but it never came off fully, and I'm sure if I got around to it I could fix it. But this case is very good. I have even stepped on it (accidentally) and it still functions

                Harmonica case!

Comments about Musician's Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case:

Overall this is a good harp case. But the taste and smell of a new case permeates into harps. I solved this by opening case and baked it in the hot sun for a couple days.
