Worst Buy Ever!!!

Features:

it took me 3 months to recieve it and when i did the neck was cracked.

Quality:

The banjo sound didn't change when changing fret's. DO NOT BUY BANJO'S OFF THIS SITE!!!

I've been playing guitar for 10 years i've never had such bad customer service.

Garbage, I wouldn't even use it as firewood.

Slow yer Roll

Features:

easy to assemble and easy to remove back, Pitch pipe is a pitch pipe! the strap is a little bit awekward. the books was helpful to check the tuning and functionality of this instrument.

Quality:

Really like the tone of the wood and the sound with the stock strings. tuning pegs are easy to adjust, in 7 months I have only had to re-tune it about 4 times.

Value:

This banjo was exactly what I wanted for a beginer but the real test was when my wife began to take lessons and the banjo was able to keep rolling and hammering along side of her instructors with minimal tunning. 

Overall:

I really could not be more pleased with this purchase! my wife was so excited for the gift and has really gravitated to playing it weekly!

Really a Beginner Instrument

I purchased this for my (now ex) wife for a christmas gift. It is a decent little banjo, and a bit smaller and lightweight than better$$ Banjos. Remember, for the price you need to get a pro to do a set up if you really want to learn on this banjo. I later bought the Rogue B-30 which is a little heavier and a little better quality if set up right. But both will work for a beginner. Here's the thing - the extras in this kit are crap. Save your money and get the Rogue instead. You'll be better off in the long run. Needless to say, I'm glad she took the Washburn and left me the Rogue.

well this is a great banjo once you do some work to it don't use the strings that come with it...they suck but, get some new ones and everything will be good i took off the back to it and i think it sounds and plays better you might have to tighten some nuts and bolts down but, all and all this is a great banjo... you just got to learn about them before you give up....
