Players such as Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins and Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine use of original Blender pedals has elevated these originals to the status of coveted vintage treasures that fetch hundreds of dollars when they can be found. This reissue is intended to satisfy the demand that has driven the original's price so high. It is made for metal players who want an ultra-aggressive sound that is unique. The Fender Blender Custom is capable of a wide array of sounds that no other octave/fuzz pedal can provide.
