Comments about Alvarez Artist Series ARD70 Sloped Shouldered Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Got mine on a sale and I ABSOLUTELY love the rich tones with lots of bass with powerful projection (I'm also a bass and cello player) when I strum, fingerstyle, and hit it for percussive plays. I picked this one over its cousin (AD70) to try a 12-fret guitar and was not disappointed. Took some days to get used to the 12-fret body shape and shorter neck length though. Was pleased that I didn't have to adjust the truss rod or mess with the bridge, as action was just right with solid intonation. I easily fit a Seymour Duncan MagMic pickup in the soundhole and it sounds great through speakers. Might upload pictures sometime in the future.

Comments about Alvarez Artist Series ARD70 Sloped Shouldered Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this to play not to collect I wanted a Gibson j45. If I could justify the cost I probably would save and get one but why would you when your not famous. I do own an original Gibson j45 a 1964 model the guitar is best acoustic purchase I've ever made it has sloped shoulders so does j45 I'm not sure the scale but if you want that sound of the j45 I would say yes although it has Rosewood back and side it still harnesses the projection of the Gibson model tuners are different here but not an issue very decent for price don't get an epiphone grab this one epiphone is good but for money here you can't go wrong I mostly play Dokken covers on it does that well also Chet Atkins stuff sounds amazing on this.its def a players guitar and a keeper look forward to playing some shows soon with it
