A great-sounding beginner's dreadnought for a price you can afford.
The RD210 is Alvarez' most value-oriented dreadnought acoustic, offering superior projection and tone in an entry-level guitar.
Alvarez starts the RD210 Regent with a select spruce top for warm, balanced tone right out of the box. The mahogany back and sides enhance these characteristics, while adding projection and clarity.
The guitar's rosewood bridge and fretboard offer plenty of sustain, and the chrome die-cast tuners keep the Regent RD210 in key from song to song.
Other appointments like dot fretboard inlays, a pearloid rosette, black multi binding, and a natural finish, give the Alvarez RD210 Regent Dreadnought looks that are as beautiful as the guitar sounds.
Alvarez includes a hardshell case with the Regent guitar.

I think if anyone out there is looking for a good acoustic thats going to impress all your friends this is it. The guitar really does sound as good as it looks. Finally a cheap piece that doesn't sound like its from a department store. This guitar has all the quality of the more expensive more popular brands. Mahogany back, sides and neck multi-binding, high gloss finish elixir strings right out of the box , oops I mean hardshell case. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone beginner or pro doesn't matter. I look forward to playing it for many years to come.
This Alvarez RD210 regent dreadnought has all the feature of its more expensive competition, even with the lam top still great. they might say entry level but even for a more experienced player or second travel piece its simply beautiful, and with a hardshell case... you can't get much better.
After inspecting this guitar I must say the quality of it is superb. I picked up a rogue grand concert last year and it was ok but it doesn't hold a candle to the Alvarez, the photos just don't do it justice trust me you won't be let down.
Get it while it's on sale. Your not going to find a better value for the money. Excellent.
I have now owned and played this guitar now for over 6 months and find it more pleasing each day. The only change made was to re-string it with DAddario EJ16-3D light strings. This gave it better tone and the guitar certainly stays in tune longer than with the factory strings. This is a great guitar value for the money and I continue to enjoy it daily. Buy this guitar! You won't be disappointed.
I received this guitar early today and I spent the rest of the day in a practice session with it. The neck is a somewhat thinner than my Seagull, which took just a little getting used to. As time went along I found it quite easy to move between chords because of this. The tone quality is outstanding, not better or worse than the Seagull, just refreshingly different. The fit and finish is that of a more expensive unit, and the hard case is a nice touch. This will be my "travel" guitar and I find it to be an outstanding choice for the beginning or intermediate player.
I am a beginner guitar player (playing less than 6 months) and this guitar was recommended for me by an employee I know well in my local guitar shop. As an entry level guitar, I'm impressed with it's sound, and the guitar stays in tune throughout my 60ish minute practice sessions, even when I change styles several times (fingerpicking, strumming, using a capo). I am very pleased with this guitar and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good valued entry level instrument.
I own and frequently play a pd511 alvarez and Taylor gs8. I also have a 20 year old yamaha dreadnought which i love. I have been playing guitar for 13 years now and have never picked up such an amazing guitar for an amazing price. I absolutely love alvarez and their quality. Hands down, you will not find a better sounding guitar at this price range.. even 100$ up! Buy this guitar, you wont be disappointed
