Aloha! I received my Aria electric guitar in the mail after work. Opened the package and tuned the strings to an electric piano. As soon as I was tuned up, I drove out to Diamond Head lookout and jammed at full volume for an hour. It was great! Lots of distortion and feedback. Turn the volume control down and good fingerpickin' with nice clarity. This guitar is great for anybody and everybody. Money well spent! JEFF
Just got this little guitar... in Green (a mix between sea foam and mint green) with a maple fretboard... a suprise as I thought it would be rosewood. the hardware is good... diecast tuners, a duel rail pickup and a small speaker... its ok for private practice... but sounds much better through an amp. It just needed a slight bit of tuning and intonation adjustment... but all in all not bad for the $80. The gig bag is better than expected as is the included strap.
I very much wanted to get a review written about this guitar, since when I was thinking about it, I could find nothing more than the generic listing of features. It is small bodied (10" wide), 22 fret neck that seems nicely playable so far. The only thing is - forget getting a clean sound. The pickup and the speaker is total distortion. It wasn't quite as bad when played with headphones plugged in. I think it's mostly in the pickup, and would like to replace it at somepoint. But other than that, as a small travel practice guitar, it nice, I like it.
Great little travel guitar for the price. My green one sounds great with or without the distortion. I do plan to put in a better speaker. The intonation had to be set.
