Comments about Axl Badwater MJZ Electric Guitar:

I Have owned this guitar for one year and mostly use it to practice. When plugged in it sounds good but there isn't alot of variety in the tone. It sounds like a fender jazz-master. The pickups and electronics are worth the price as are the tuners and bridge. The neck is excellent, very comfortable to play fast or slow. This guitar has held up better than my Squier cyclone. I recently bought another guitar for playing live.

Comments about Axl Badwater MJZ Electric Guitar:

The Badwater MJZ Electric Guitar bears a strong resemblence to the Jazzmaster with a few differences that are actually an improvement. The finish is a see-through walnut stain with antiqued copper hardware, a very nice touch and very rich looking. The EMG pickups were a nice surprise and have tons of tone and output. I played it through a small, cheap practice amp and it sounds FANTASTIC, ideal for studio as well as stage. My only complaint is the neck pickup is not "reverse" polarity, which would allow the two together to eliminate the hum you have to expect of single coil pickups. I can actually "fix" this, but it would have been nice if it was built that way. Nevertheless, this is a worthy competitor to the "Pawnshop" line Fender has released and is an excellent guitar in it's own right.
