        Icy-cold looks and freezer-burn sonics.

Don't let its angelic transparent looks fool you, this is one mean tone machine. Dual BDSM humbuckers give it a massive, glacier-sized sound that drives as hard as you play. 24 jumbo frets give you extended range, silky stretching, and added sustain while the deep cutaway provides access to the higher registers. Sealed die-cast tuners and hard tailpiece for total tuning stability.

        Features
        • Clear acrylic body
        • Wood headstock
        • Maple neck
        • Rosewood fretboard
        • 24 jumbo frets
        • 2 BDSM humbucker pickups
        • 25-1/2" scale

Anyone can play with fire, but it takes something special to play with ice. Order now.

This is guitar #18, been playing in bands since I was 14, not a novice. Own a special x Mockingbird and love it as much or more than any of my gibsons. Bought this to look cool on stage and was blown away by the tone, really expected a thin tinny sound, plugged it into my stack and the axe sounds like a Les Paul on steroids, with a better neck. Un freakin believable! This will be in at least one of our sets when we play out every time. Well worth the bucks, have gibsons worth 4x this, this axe is right up there> Mockingbirds totally kick butt! Check out our band on facebook, keep in mind it was a small hand held camera. facebook.com/hammerdownband
Musicians friend rocks as much as the Mockingbirds! Buy this axe!!!!I love mine to be sure

Bought it without playing it first. What a mistake. This is one of the biggest pieces of junk I have seen in quite a while. The buzz was so loud I had to get it rewired. The action sucks and I had to repalce the tuning pegs because they wouldn't keep in tune. I was a fan of BC Rich for a long time, but it looks like they sold out and started producing crap. What I have is about 30.00 worth of useless electronics in about 4.39 of acrylic.

Call me crazy...... But I bought one of these to LEARN to play guitar. I LOVE IT! I realy dig the sound. And the looks of this baby only go to intensify my adoration of this axe.

        Mockingbird - Acrylic

        By TattooMom

I bought this guitar for my boyfriend and it sounds fantastic! The tone is outstanding. The weight of the guitar might be inhibitive to young or smaller players. We have been highly pleased with the purchase however keeping the guitar clean without scratching is a concern.

        Very Good Guitar

        By Chris-z2FmF

I bought this guitar in green a couple of days ago and I really like it. When I bought it I was told that an inch of the lousite the guitar is made out of can stop a bullet. The guitar is also a favorite with my band members and friends because of its looks and because of the way it plays.

        Great Guitar

        By Stitch-Tpl5Z

        from Brazil, IN

This guitar is an excellent guitar! Yes, most everyone complains about how heavy the guitar is, but I have no complaints on the weight of it at all. This guitar has a great heavy sound for those metalheads out there! And its also has some killer looks as well! If you have no problem with the weight of the guitar then I'd definitely recommend this guitar to anyone.

        You people are wimps!!!!

        By Krell

        from los angeles

Everyone who complains about the weight of the guitar needs to go home and cry to momma! So what if it has a little more weight to it, that is what gives it that awesome sustain. I like the fact that it is relatively thin as well. I also dont see a problem while sitting down to play it. These complaining little whiners who say they are musicians need to go to the bar, drink a shot and a beer, and play the gig with all of the fury metal allows!

        No Good

        By Dan-03JPM

        from Warrenton, VA

This guitar is very heavy. The balance is really bad, it is a pain to play when you are standing and when you sit with it it digs into your chest. The only thing that this guitar has going for it is its looks. It looks awesome but plays terribly. I usually play a Gibson Les Paul and I don't even want to play this guitar anymore after playing a Les Paul. My advice is spend the extra money and get a Paul. You won't regret it.

        Heavy guitar

It plays ok, and sounds decent, but it's a heavy guitar.
