B.C. Rich

Designed and played by a King, priced for everyone.

The B.C. Rich Metal Master Kerry King V features a maple, bolt-on neck; solid, beveled basswood body; widow style headstock; a rosewood fretboard with white pearloid dot lnlays and 24 jumbo frets; a wrap around fixed bridge; and 2 BDSM humbuckers.

Bolt-on Construction
The Metal Master Kerry King V uses a classic Bolt-on construction. The maple neck is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instruments adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. That simply means the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (neck and bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Beveled Top
The Metal Master Kerry King V employs a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways, bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

Case sold separately.

Love this axe

By Classic Metalhead

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Kerry King V Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar almost two years ago, used, and I'm glad I picked it up. Its size takes a bit getting used to, but once you do, this guitar turns into a thrash and shred monster. The stock pickups are good for the price, it has decent sustain (not Les Paul-ish, but I bought it because I love the V-style body), and the action feels good... at least to an amateur like me. This was the first guitar I purchased for myself and I won't hesitate to recommend it to someone who wants a good value on a guitar.

An Axe To Sell Your Soul For

By Anonymous

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Kerry King V Electric Guitar:

I played this once at a Guitar World. Fortunately, it was tuned to drop B, so I could test its sound for some REALLY heavy metal(Slipknot). All I can say is, if I was Kerry King, I would TOTALLY approve this death-metal axe. Its got a great feel to it and its sound is sort of muffled, which gives it an awesome kick. The only problem is, believe it or not, its shape. Because of the V shape, you can't rest the sides on your leg and must stand while playing it. Otherwise, one of the best guitars on the market!!!

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Kerry King V Electric Guitar:

I owned this guitar and i found out you get what you pay for-it looks great but the body's large and the neck was to round for my liking the gitar as a whole is less than impressive hopfully the upscale models are much much better

GET THIS AXE!!!

By zombie62190

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Kerry King V Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar USED, from a local guitar shop. From the first time a saw it, I knew that I had to have it. I am a HUGE Slayer fan, and this guitar caught my eye immediately. I just upgraded my neck pickup to a DiMarzio, but even the stock BDSMs scream! I was amazed by the tone I got out of them. The maple neck is SOOOOOO nice. I love it. It has great action and feel. The sustain isn't great but hey, it's not a very expensive axe. The one I got had a lot of scratches and dents, but let me remind you IT WAS USED. And I'm not one to gripe about cosmetics so I really don't care. The graphics are okay. At first I liked 'em but after a while I got tired of the tribal design. But that's just my personal opinion. And this guitar is awesomely balanced. There's nothing I hate more than a neck heavy guitar. It sits perfectly, and is way lighter than it looks. If you're a beginner/intermediate guitar player, you play metal, or you love Slayer you should DEFINITELY buy this guitar. You can't beat the price, or the quality. I've NEVER played a better quality guitar for this price.
