This Warlock in the Tribal Fire paintjob is excellent for folk music, especially country fingerpicking stuff like Elizabeth Cotten and Merle Travis. It really has that coffeehouse vibe that says "I am a real folk singer/songwriter," and of course a beautiful, chiming, bell-like clean tone from the humbuckers. The neck position is quite jazzy, great for solo samba tubes like Girl from Ipanema. Get up at open mic with this guitar and play some Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, James Taylor, etc. etc. They will never forget you, and the paying gigs will come flying.

This guitar will let you down in every way possible. When I first started playing guitar it seemed awesome when I was into slipknot and disturbed. The truth is never ever buy a guitar on looks because you will be disappointed. B.C rich are not the best of quality. Go over and look a esp, jackson, or ibanez because take it from someone who has been in this situation, this guitar will fail you.

    Good Guitar

    By Anonymous

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

I've had this guitars for about 2-3 years now. It has been a great guitar but I don't play it much anymore. I used to play a bunch of metal/hardcore/grindcore and it was perfect for that style. I would recommend it because it holds tuning well and has a great sound for heavy distortion and that kind of sound for death metal. But I would not use it for much anything else other than a death metal sound. In summary, if you want it and have the money get it it's not a waste.

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

I bought my B.C. Rich used off a friend of a friend. It was my main guitar for years, I played everything from Black Metal to Doom Metal, Thrash Metal, Classic Rock, and even some classical music on it. This guitar handled it all and made it sound good. This guitar is built well, and stands well against most guitars double their price range. Note: Watch the headstock, it is very easy to chip and break. That's how I lost mine.

I've been an Extreme Guitarist for years now, I have played many guitars. This was my first brand name guitar my Dad got me for Christmas in 2008 as a Welcome Home from Iraq and I have to say that this is my favorite guitar and I have an Ibanez Jem Jr. as well.

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

I bought this used from a kid that couldnt play it. The only damage it had was cosmetic. So i'll get to the point. Ive had it for over a year now adn it is my primary guitar. I use it at gigs, for practice, recording. Its a nice guitar, the pick ups sound decent for the price and the action is fairly easy to set. Now i have had my problems. The volume and tone knobs come loose aometimes and need to be tightened and also the way it is wired doenst give enough slack for any saudering once youve done it after awhile. But i strongly belive that those are just things to expect after using it all the time. Its great for the value but nothing to groundbreaking. Its a good guitar if you need one for a gig or something shiny on the wall

Great bargain guitar, but no Les Paul.

      By Andrew Bowler

      from Iowa

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

I highly recommend this for any new player who likes classic metal or probably more hardcore stuff, though I can't really say too much about the hardcore stuff since I never go below E standard. I could see anybody buying this who wants to eventually progress further by possibly changing the pickups at some point, or switching to a higher end B.C. Rich or other brand.
      Feature pros:

Love the neck. Thinner neck, which is perfect for me, compared to something like a Mockingbird or a Les Paul, which have much thicker necks. Low action makes moving around the fretboard very easy.

      Feature cons:

The tone and volume knobs fail to impress. No matter what setting I have the pickup switch on, whether be lead or rhythm, there is absolutely no way turning the tone knob down makes it sound good.

The bridge is ridiculous. Changing strings requires me to either remove the bridge pickup and move it, or take off the saddle completely. Bad choice in bridge, B.C. Rich.
The body may look like an axe that Eugene wasn't careful with, but the pickups sound okay. It's kind of a love 'em or hate 'em situation with the BDSM pickups that come with the guitar. I like having a high mid and treble tone, with bass about halfway up, to get that classic rock feel, compared to that chunky sound the Mockingbird gives off, which I don't like quite as much, so these pickups are great to start with. I would strongly discourage getting this for a lot of clean jazz or ballad pieces, though, the pickups seem to have a slight distortion on the lower strings, especially when the pickup switch is set on rhythm.

Guitar's impractical to carry around, unless you've got a coffin case like me or something equally ridiculous. Body's heavy.
For what this guitar offers, it is a great price.

      FOR THRASH METAL

      By JcAntwse

      from Pitt, PA

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

This guitar is for Thrash Metal fans only, if you dont want to paml mute and chug away on pentatonic riffs, then dont buy it. It is designed for Thrash Metal. I use this guitar with a line 6 spider 4, with the right distortion this guitar sounds just like any 80's thrash. If you love thrash but cant afford much, this is your guitar.
