The B.C. Rich NT Beast Electric Guitar offers the amazing sustain and solid feel of a neck-through instrument with the price benefit of an import. And the high quality appointments don't stop there. A solid nato body, hard maple neck, ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays and 24 jumbo frets are jaw dropping on an instrument that's this easy on your pocketbook. The vicious shadow of the famous Beast headstock looms over powerful, dual BSDM humbuckers and a licensed Floyd Rose tremolo. We can't say whether someone has made an unholy alliance with this Beast, but you may find it hard on your soul to pass it up.

Whoever said this isn't a great guitar is messed up in the brain. It's got it's faults, but so does even a million $ guitar. It's pickups aren't great but the rest is really good quality.
For what your paying this guitars a steal from neck through construction to a floyd rose and exotic woods for that unique sound, a double octave neck (24 frets) has so much more soloing possibilities... go for it! The only way you could possibly make this guitar better is by adding some active pickups in my opinionok so bad things first... its a heavier guitar than what your probably used to and its a bit awkard to sit down and play. But once you put better tuners and pickups that suit your playing style you wont be able to put this guitar down.. than whats better warlock or beast, they are built very similar down to the wood.. the beasts heavier but has a louder unplugged sound.. the warlocks much lighter and quieter so you cant go wrong whatever you like better go with because either one gets tons of attention on or off stage.
Hands down best import guitar on the market. Neck feels great, as do the frets. The licensed-Floyd is one of the best out there. The pickups are the only thing that stood in my way from giving it perfect 5s. The BDSMs are Great for the beginner/intermediate player, but the serious active musician they will leave something to be desired. If you're looking at this guitar, there's a reason. You won't be disappointed! Buy It Now!!
As a guitar its decent, not in anyway a show winner. Great for beginners to moderates to play a gig or two but, it suffers from cheap pickups. BC Rich didnt put their best effort into the pickups, their weak and hollow sounding. So I bought a pair of Seymour Duncan Detonators and installed them. GREAT improvement. The neck felt like plastic so I stripped it down and refinished it and honed the frets. Sustain is up, speed is up, sound is up, over a new guitar. Ok so the original guitar isnt worth buying if you have skill and are planning on playing shows, invest in a better guitar but, if your a beginner or want to learn to customize I recommend this guitar.
What an absolute WASTE of wood! This guitar is terrible. The pickups sound thin and there's absolutely no versatility. And face it this thing one of the ugliest guitars ever. The only thing it really has going for it is the fact that it's neck through. It would be KIND OF cool if the paint wasn't so bland but other than that this thing sucks. If you're smart you WON'T BUY IT!
I purchased this guitar, then played it. I was surprised how good this guitar sounded. I likethe tremolo, and the locking nut. It stayed in tune, even after all that shredding and stringbending. Wow, it's hot!!I would definatley reccomend this guitar for looks, sound, playability, and quality. Rock on B C Rich!!!
I had wanted this guitar ever since i saw it, when i was in grade school. most say that it is just an attention grabber and nothing more i would have to disagree completely i liked the sound and the feel is well the only kind that you can get from a bc rich awesome, besides if you dislike the sound the pick-ups can always be swapped out for different ones its all about the feel and look but i still think that it sounds great
So I have a custom Beast (no speed loaders, string through body, custom paint [black with silver bevels]) and all I have to say is that it's an attention grabber, nothing more. It is extremely unbalanced, almost useless sitting down, and very heavy and awkward (the location of the rear strap notch is at the tip of the big spike). With all that said, it sounds wonderful, looks like nothing else, and even if your show sucked at least people will be walking away saying, "Did you see the guitar players ax? that thing was awesome!"
