    B.C. Rich

An iconic body shape with neck-through design for maximum sustain and powerful Duncan design pickups.

Who else but B.C. Rich would you expect to offer neck-through guitars? Now B.C. Rich will take their neck through designs to a whole new level. Introducing the NT Series Guitars and Basses. Many of these models have never been offered as import neck-through. Now players who want the added sustain and solid feel of a neck-through, in an affordable package, can pickup an NT (neck-through) Series by B.C. Rich.

    Neck-Through Construction
B.C. Rich is known as one of the pioneers in neck-through construction. They use it on many of their guitars, because it provides the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort and access to higher frets. Neck-through has long been considered the premium construction method for high-end guitars. This construction starts with a long piece (or pieces) of premium North American maple. That piece runs from the tip of the headstock to the strap button on the opposite end of the guitar. This means that the headstock, fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are mounted to this single sound foundation. Sonically it is a difference you can hear. The neck-through construction also allows more of the body and neck to be cut away at the neck joint, which provides comfort no bolt-on or set-neck could offer. You will find the neck through feature on all top of the line B.C. Rich models.

Comments about B.C. Rich NT Warlock Electric Guitar:

I really wanted for this to be the killer Axe I got cheap. It falls a bit short.

The neck has a good feel and the body is comfortable as well. Its lighter than my other Warlocks. I note its a bit thinner. Grover tuners are sweet and the neck thru and string through design are great.

        Ebony fretboard is awesome too.

The only thing wrong is the pickups. They are hands down THE WORST pups I've ever played. They sound hollow tinny and very harsh in the highs. Like nails on a chalkboard. That bad. I don't know if its the pups, pots, caps, or bad solder joints, but I can't play it. That bad.

I have several other guitars with Duncan Designed pups and they sound spectacular. Not sure what happened here.

I have a set of Mick Thomson Blackouts, so I'll be replacing all the electronics soon. Buying a brass bridge soon and putting 11's on it.

After that, I bet it rips.

It was a good enough price, I don't really care, but quality control seems to be absent from a few "top" manufacturers these days....

Comments about B.C. Rich NT Warlock Electric Guitar:

This is a beautiful guitar. When it arrived, my 5 year old son said "It is my guitar." The guitar is well-balanced. Plays very well, but has a very minor fret buzz at 1st fret which can easily be fixed by truss rod adjustment. Sustain is outstanding and the pick ups are average.

The guitar is taller than average guitars. It does not fit in a regular gig bag, but I was able to fit it a bass gig bag.

I have played too. i have played other Chinese and US and this is better than all for some reason. The Grover tuners and fret board are great. The Pickups are not my taste and I chaged them too . Great bang for the Buck.

this axe is simply great....well crafted and plays like a dream. the only issue i have with it is that the pups suck. i will be putting a seymour duncan sh-6 in the bridge to bring this sleeping demon alive and still have yet to figure out what i want in the neck. over all, great axe. don't let the made in china steer you away. it really is well constructed.

this is the best guitar i have ever owned i play live a lot so i needed a guitar that would hold up i would only need one on the road i don't have a lot of cash so this was a amazing price for everything your getting you can't go wrong the nick threw design coil tap duncan pick up's ebony fret board best thing you can get for this price i would say if i just picked this up and played it i would by it for as much as a les paul custom i have played 100's of guitars i would pick this over all of them plays smooth as hell but when i got mine the neck pick up was lower out put but that was my chord then my friend had gotten one as well and the action needed fixing and a slight trust rod adjustment but it was still able to be played just had more of a country twang with his so everything on the guitar is amazing but all and all just set it up how you like it if you like some twang works grate with that on a clean channel with some coil tap amazing for shredding out of the box it is a metal monster but if you want to play with both pick ups on at the same time the out put is lower then if you just used the neck or bridge pick up but it just might be cuz i live really far away from ware t was shipped my friends does not have that but just some re-soldering and your good i bring this to all my gigs and i love it grate for my band (blind by night) you can put as much gain as you want and still sounds amazing never gets muddy strap buttons are really big so your strap stays on easy and the only difference between this and a les paul is the look the pick ups (same magnet in the pick up) and the fret board so ebony over rosewood or baked maple but buy it if you have the option buy it forget the esp guibson fanders this is perfect

Comments about B.C. Rich NT Warlock Electric Guitar:

I'd have to say this is probably one of the best Warlocks I've ever played. I'm not a Floyd Rose kind of guitarist, so this guitar was wonderful. The string-through setup makes for an easy tuning job. I also really liked that it has 24 frets instead of 22. I do, however, wish that it had EMGs instead of Seymour Duncans (I'm an active guitarist).
