The B.C. Rich Red Bevel Warlock Electric Guitar and Amp Pack features a Warlock guitar with a maple bolt-on neck; solid, beveled agathis body; Widow-style headstock; a rosewood fretboard with white pearloid dot inlays and 24 jumbo frets; a wraparound fixed bridge; and 2 BDSM humbuckers. The Pack also includes a matching 10-watt, red B.C. Rich "Insinerator" combo amp.
Bolt-on Construction
The Red Bevel Warlock Electric Guitar uses a classic bolt-on construction. The maple neck is bolted on to the body with 4 screws. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instrument's adjustment and leaves the option to change the neck in the future.
B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. That simply means the pickup is designed to accurately reproduce a wide range of frequencies (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (neck and bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).
Beveled Top
The Red Bevel Warlock Electric Guitar employs a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways, bevels on the top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three-dimensional look.

Aside from the few minor flaws (in my book. others may think differently), this guitar kicks some major ass and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a well priced, shred worthy guitar.
I love this guitars features, the 2 dual humbucker pickups make for excellent metal sound quality, the tuners keep the strings in tune, and the toggle switch is quick and easy for my play style. But the strap hooks are (strangely) bigger than other guitars. The planet wave lock strap i bought for it wont go through step 2 with it. But it works just fine on my cheap little Squier Bullet. And I also wish it had a whammy bar, and my tone knob is built pretty compacted so it takes a little more effort to turn then my volume knob. Its really not that big of a problem at all, i have ocd though so it bugs me.
My guitar arrived in perfect condition and i plan on keeping it that way. I love how it all sounds, the looks are sick, and its suits my music perfectly. And its incredibly balanced for its odd shape and bulky body.
Its a crazy good deal. this price for this sick guitar? Fine by me. Especially considering i dont make all that much money to begin with. The amps not that bad either. My digitech DEATH METAL pedal really helps it out though. The cable it comes with though is crap. Its really flemsy and you get a lot of feedback from it, it sounds like water running through your pickups. But its ok as a amp-pedal cable. And i dont even use the amp it came with for my Rich, i use a Fender Mustang. But all in all, i think if i ever wanted to sell it, i could make a profit off of it with no questions asked. "if", which will never come.

This was the first guitar i bought but not the first ive played/owned. I'm thoroughly happy with the guitar and, for it's size, the amp sounds great. I replaced the stock strings with Ernie Balls. The only complaint i have is the horrible cable that comes with it. I would recommend a new one. The cable that comes with it is like a spaghetti string and started coming apart soon after i got it.

when i ordered this guitar i thought i was just getting looks, but no i got the best for a good price it stays in tune well and i like to sweep pick a lot like synyster gates and the neck was amazingly comfy i totally recommend this guitar for beginners-advanced players.

Okay, I'll admit that this is my first guitar. I'm 33 years old and it's never to late to start to rock. That said, I researched a ton online for a starter set...but something worthwhile. In looking at the combo packs, this not only stood out for it's awesome shape but it's credibility from B.C.Rich. Keep in mind, the Warlock has been in their portfolio for quite some time. All of the reviews were the same, great guitar at a great price. Mine arrived last week. And for those of you wondering, this kit does come with a cable. It's a pretty basic cable but other than a pick...this kit is ready to play. The action is smooth, it does a great job of staying in tune as I try to hammer out scales and it's got a comfortable grip either standing or sitting to play. The amp isn't bad at all for a first time player. There is a distortion button on it with tone controls as well. I picked mine up with some extra cables, an RP90 mulit-effects unit and some decent strings. For just a week in as an owner of this and new learner, I'm beyond pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to play or learn...at any age. Sure, the shape is pure metal...but, why else would you buy this if you weren't into that sound/look???One word of advice, I picked up a Hercules stand for my Warlock. The regular stand just won't fit the awkward shape of the body of this guitar safely. The Hercules is a grip and lock system and seems made for this ax. Just something to consider if you are getting a stand with this purchase...or anytime down the road. All in all, this is a great buy for fresh shredders...of any age.

I might be bias because this was my first guitar. But despite the metal looks, I play it clean most of the time and it makes a great starter sound. I play everything from Reggae to Hard Rock and it all sounds decent. There are plenty of frets and it plays pretty nice, like I said for the price it's a great first guitar, and it has flashy looks.

I just received this package the other day as a gift from the folks. I gotta say, I love this guitar. I'm just starting out, so I can't say I'm an expert on neck action or anything like that but this guitar seems way better than most Strats or Pauls (copies or otherwise) that I've tried at shops. I've read and heard a lot of people bash Warlocks, saying that they're good if you're only gonna play metal. But if you don't wanna just play metal, then why would you buy a Warlock? This is clearly a metal guitar. The amp isn't anything to right home about but then again, I'm not much of an expert on amps either. All and all I recommend this to any beginning metal-heads out there.

I got this guitar pack for my birthday awhile ago. It has really cool looks but the sound is pretty bad. The amp is very limited and almost instantly I wanted a new guitar and amp after I got this. I now own a epiphone les paul, and a new vox tube amp.
