      B.C. Rich

The Trace Warbeast T has the sound, playability, and looks you'd expect from a instrument that bears that name.

The B.C. Rich Trace Warbeast T is an electric guitar with a tremolo that has way more going for it than a cool name and awesome gothic looks. The Warbeast T includes an ebony fretboard and black chrome hardware. A through-the-body string design adds extra sustain. The Warbeast guitar's controls include a master volume, master tone, and 3-way toggle pickup selector switch. Like the trail of tracer bullets in the night, the trail of silver on the fretboard and body bevels of the Warbeast create a stunning show when you are on the stage. The Floyd Rose Special Series tremolo lets you pierce the clouds and plumb the depths.

      Bolt-on Construction
A number of B.C. Rich guitars use a classic bolt-on construction. On these instruments a neck (typically maple) is bolted to the body with 4 screws. This construction offers some added flexibility in the guitar's adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

      B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched, which simply means that the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (neck and bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

      Beveled Top
Most of B.C. Rich guitar body styles employ a beveled edge. In many ways bevels on a guitar's top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the guitar more of a 3-dimensional look. On the Trace Warbeast the guitar's shape is accented by the silver painted bevels highlighting the unique body shape with a contrasting color.

Comments about B.C. Rich Trace Warbeast T Electric Guitar:

Shape: Its shape brings this guitar to the essence of heavy metal, with its pointy corners, very agressive style, pearlescent details around the body and pearlescent stripes parallel to the neck. It's stunning to look at this guitar during a concert!!!

Construction: Its headstock and neck are built in maple, which is a great wood for neck construction. The body is made of mahogany, but the guitar hasn't a heavy weight, wich is great to play while standing. The fretboard wood is ebony, and gives an elegant finish and provides great playability. Also, the body top style is beveled, which makes it even more easier to play.

Comfort: Its neck is very comfortable, its fretboard is very good to play, and the body shape doesn't hurt (unless you are really skinny, because the pointy corners of the guitar may bother you while playing sitting).

Sound: This guitar really shows its power while playing heavy metal and hard rock! Its sound is amazing, it has a good sustain, great to holding power chords for a long time. The clean sound of this guitar doesn't impresses much, but its pickups and other electronics holds a heavy distortion very well, has a great response, it is loud and heavy like a lion roaring! I would say it is a great guitar for Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, but I don't recommend it if you want to play blues, jazz or classic rock. As i'm a heavy metal guitar player, I don't have this problem.

Pick Ups and Bridge: I am satisfied with the pick ups, but I think B.C. Rich could have put EMG's as seen on Warbeast NJ Deluxe. But, well, for a guitar at this price, it's predictable that i wouldn't have better pick ups. I'm not saying they are bad, they sound really good and have a great tone, but it could be better, and maybe you want to switch the BSDM's (original pick ups for this guitar, built by BC Rich itself) to EMG's or other brand pick ups in the future. The bridge is fine, could also be better, but holds the guitar tuning for a good time, and doesn't gets out of tune while using the whammy bar (by the way, this guitar uses a Floyd Rose Special Series Tremolo).

Conclusion: This guitar rocks!!! I recommend it to everyone that loves to play Hard Rock and Heavy Metal and wants to buy something beautiful, easy to play, with a good feeling and a heavy tone! I bought it, and I don't regret!

Comments about B.C. Rich Trace Warbeast T Electric Guitar:

If you collect guitars, but don't have the $800 for the better version with EmG's and neckthru, etc., then you have to get the Trace. I wouldn't suggest this guitar to a beginner or to someone who can't change strings on a Floyd, but this guitar does rock. It is solid, has a great tone and sustain, has a fast neck, smooth fretboard, and is just easy and fun to play. If you play anykind of hard rock or metal, this guitar will get down an dirty. It comes with light strings, 9's or 10's, which are great for bending and extreme vibrato, but if you want harsher crunch, you'll need to change to heavier strings. This guitar has a nice weight and feel to it, but if you would hold a better guitar, you will instantly know the difference. I think the pickups are just ok, but the EMG's are a better choice without needing to say. If you like the BC Rich awesome designs and play hard rock or heavy metal, want a cool looking guitar to hang with your collection, and don't want to pay a lot of money, dude, this axe has your name on it!

Comments about B.C. Rich Trace Warbeast T Electric Guitar:

I just got this guitar today, and I love it. It has a very nice sound to it. There were a few problems with it tho. The floyd rose tremolo was not completly tightened on the inside of the guitar, and it fell of. But it was fixable. Other problem I had with it was the persom who made this guitar stripped one of the locking nuts on top, again I can fix that. The last thing is obvious the stock strings were junk. Don't get me wrong those were only minor problems. This guitar is amazing, sounds great. I would recomend it to anyone.
