OVERVIEW

An unholy mingling of models with dangerous looks, quality woods and workmanship, and string-through sound.

When it comes to extreme and aggressive shapes, it's tough to top BC Rich. The Warbeast electric guitar combines elements of the Warlock and the Beast to create a dangerous new breed of guitar. The Warbeast features a basswood body and a bolt-on maple neck with ebony fretboard. Thru-body stringing provides strong sustain, a tight, punchy sound and feel. Two high-output BC Rich humbuckers dish out the fire-breathing tone you crave, and a radically-styled Widow headstock adds the finishing touches to this monster. The TWBSTO version, with Onyx finish and silver beveled edges, is available only from us.

I love BC Riches and I've played everything from the bronze series warlock to my friends handmade Bich. This guitar is pretty flashy, but it's all just show. Once you plug it in, you find the pick ups are very muddy. The neck is pretty good. It's got some heft, but its not too fat. I love the shape, but if you sit and play, of course you're going to be uncomfortable. For the price, I'd advise getting something a bit better. You can find an Ibanez RG or something for a few bucks more that'll blow this thing away. If you get it, straplocks are a must because the pins are positioned just right so your strap can fall the heck off. Also invest in some new pickups and new pots.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

Simple, sleek guitar that's easy to trick out. I don't get the pickup hate because I think mine sounds great, although I might try some unpotted humbuckers to experiment. I've had way worse pickups in an Epiphone! This guitar was a steal for the sale price. The only thing I don't like are the strap button positions which make it prone to coming off, and the shape is cool but it makes the guitar difficult to fit in a stand when you're not playing. This is my first B.C. Rich, and I would buy another.

I got this guitar for the stupid deal of the day.... This guitar is worth 4 times what i paid for it. It came perfect in the box, just tuned it up and ready to go. Only thing is somewhere down the line you might want to switch the pickups, i will be doing so soon, Invader in the neck and dimbucker in the bridge.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I bought this just for how low the price was. When I unpacked it and plugged in, it was just too much fun. I play through a few effect boards and one of them goes through a computer. Just a slight adjustment here and there and it sounds great for lead, rhythm, noise, it even sounds good mimicking a turntable scratch. I play and practice standing, you dont want to sit down with this though, its got some sharp points on it.

Best Metal Guitar For The Price!

        By KG SOLOMAN 5000

        from Valhalla

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I have several guitars and for the price this is hands down the best metal guitar I own. The tuners hold up really well for repeatedly tuning from standard to C standard or drop D. It is remarkably light-weight for its size and very sturdy. The stock pick-ups aren't bad. I am planning on installing a set of EMG 81-85's on it so the pinch harmonics and squeals really come out. Over all it is a very good axe for the price, and the feel of the neck and smoothness of the action is what keeps me coming back to it.

        black metal potential

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I normally stick with ESP when it comes to choosing a trustingBlack metal axe. But then again B.C. Rich is the stuff of blackMetal too. I mainly got this guitar because of that reasonAnd as tribute to the departure of Vortex leaving Dimmu Borgir. The looks are brutal and has a great balance. The sustain isSurprisingly awesome. But! I strongly suggest replace the crappyStock humbuckers. I picked and threw in some seymour duncansHumbuckers and this beast really came alive.

        BC Rich Trace Warbeast

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

Excellent guitar with great playability and tone. Especially for heavy metal and anything else where you use overdrive or distortion. Once the pups are adjusted well there is no muddyness, just excellent to me crunchy voicde with rich harmonics and great sustain with better then average slow even note fade out. Very nice fast neck thats also unpainted. Which I prefer. I alos like its look and fit to body. The rear cutout is perfect for leg rest area. Is not good choice for sitting overall but excellent for standing and wearing low to medium low.

Its a awesome guitar for the money

        By Warbeast93

        from Undisclosed

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

If your looking for a beautiful guitar that everyone will awe at this is it, however the pickups are a little weak. Personally, I like the sound of Seymour Duncan Active Humbuckers, but thats just me. EMG's sound great as well, but I recommend some new pickups for this axe. As for sitting down and playing, I'm 6'1" and have pretty good sized legs and I just play it like a V comfortably. No you can't play it like a Strat. Play it like a V!
