The Warbeast features a basswood body and a bolt-on maple neck with ebony fretboard. Thru-body stringing provides strong sustain, a tight, punchy sound and feel. Two high-output BC Rich humbuckers dish out the fire-breathing tone you crave, and a radically-styled Widow headstock adds the finishing touches to this monster. The TWBSTO version, with Onyx finish and silver beveled edges, is available only from us.

I love BC Riches and I've played everything from the bronze series warlock to my friends handmade Bich. This guitar is pretty flashy, but it's all just show. Once you plug it in, you find the pick ups are very muddy. The neck is pretty good. It's got some heft, but its not too fat. I love the shape, but if you sit and play, of course you're going to be uncomfortable. For the price, I'd advise getting something a bit better. You can find an Ibanez RG or something for a few bucks more that'll blow this thing away. If you get it, straplocks are a must because the pins are positioned just right so your strap can fall the heck off. Also invest in some new pickups and new pots.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar for the stupid deal of the day.... This guitar is worth 4 times what i paid for it. It came perfect in the box, just tuned it up and ready to go. Only thing is somewhere down the line you might want to switch the pickups, i will be doing so soon, Invader in the neck and dimbucker in the bridge.

Best Metal Guitar For The Price!

By KG SOLOMAN 5000

from Valhalla

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I have several guitars and for the price this is hands down the best metal guitar I own. The tuners hold up really well for repeatedly tuning from standard to C standard or drop D. It is remarkably light-weight for its size and very sturdy. The stock pick-ups aren't bad. I am planning on installing a set of EMG 81-85's on it so the pinch harmonics and squeals really come out. Over all it is a very good axe for the price, and the feel of the neck and smoothness of the action is what keeps me coming back to it.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

Simple, sleek guitar that's easy to trick out. I don't get the pickup hate because I think mine sounds great, although I might try some unpotted humbuckers to experiment. I've had way worse pickups in an Epiphone! This guitar was a steal for the sale price. The only thing I don't like are the strap button positions which make it prone to coming off, and the shape is cool but it makes the guitar difficult to fit in a stand when you're not playing. This is my first B.C. Rich, and I would buy another.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I bought this just for how low the price was. When I unpacked it and plugged in, it was just too much fun. I play through a few effect boards and one of them goes through a computer. Just a slight adjustment here and there and it sounds great for lead, rhythm, noise, it even sounds good mimicking a turntable scratch. I play and practice standing, you dont want to sit down with this though, its got some sharp points on it.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

This is one hell of a guitar. It is an amazing metal guitar. If you crank this thing up loud and just start thrashing, everyone in the room will start bobbing their head. It looks amazing, and it plays even better. The only dilema you will encounter is having to sit down. WARNING: DON'T USE A STRAP FOR THIS GUITAR IF YOU DON'T HAVE STRAPLOCKS!!!

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

This guitar has a nice neck and good looks, but thats about it. The stock pickups go way south end on high volumes, and the strings go way out of tune after 1-2 hrs of light playing. If you want a good looking guitar, this is it, but the quality is just not there.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I normally stick with ESP when it comes to choosing a trustingBlack metal axe. But then again B.C. Rich is the stuff of blackMetal too. I mainly got this guitar because of that reasonAnd as tribute to the departure of Vortex leaving Dimmu Borgir. The looks are brutal and has a great balance. The sustain isSurprisingly awesome. But! I strongly suggest replace the crappyStock humbuckers. I picked and threw in some seymour duncansHumbuckers and this beast really came alive.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

Excellent guitar with great playability and tone. Especially for heavy metal and anything else where you use overdrive or distortion. Once the pups are adjusted well there is no muddyness, just excellent to me crunchy voicde with rich harmonics and great sustain with better then average slow even note fade out. Very nice fast neck thats also unpainted. Which I prefer. I alos like its look and fit to body. The rear cutout is perfect for leg rest area. Is not good choice for sitting overall but excellent for standing and wearing low to medium low.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I really like this guitar. I bought it off a guy for 120$ with active EMG 81/60's in it. Haha. The action is perfect and it sounds wonderful. Mine is in drop C and there is no fret buzz at all. I love playing it on the "Messhugah" setting of my Line 6 HD150 head. Its amazing. I wouldn't get rid of this guitar EVER. If your looking for a metal guitar this is the one for you.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

When I got this guitar for Christmas, I was really happy because I wanted it ever since I played it at Guitar Center. Honestly, it has a good sound, and pinch harmonics are super easy on this one. As for the stock pickups, they are ok, but you will want some Seymour Duncans, EMG's, or Dimarzio's somewhere down the line.As for the weight, it is also good. Extremely light weight, which makes for longer play time without getting tired. The neck is super fast, and I never had a problem with mine going out of tune. The only complaints on the neck is that the headstock chips easily, and it takes a while to get used to the weird fret markers. You'll have to adjust your action, as mine had minor fret buzz. Here's the major downfall; it will break very easily. Since late December of 2007, to April of 2008 I've had to get it mainteninced 3 times now. One was a minor wiring issue on the input, the second was when a metal piece ripped off the pickup/distortion switch, and the third was when my pickups fell out. The quality is very poor.Overall, I would give it a 3.5. And forthe money, get a Jackson or an Ibanez.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar and it was totally balls out. The pickups are definitely better than emgs because they pick up all the sound you need and then some. The neck plays fast and the fretboard is big for those wailing pinch harmonics! There are some cons though...1) DO NOT SIT DOWN AND PLAY THIS GUITAR! it will hurt. A lot.2) Tuners are a little bit on the small side but if youre like me and just love playing, then its not gonna matter. If you are looking for something that can play monster metal riffs, this is the guitar for you!

      Sick Guitar

      By Beastlybeastman

      from Texas

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

This is an amazing guitar, it looks wicked, sounds wicked, and very light. The strings that came with mine were crap, but I put some ernie ball strings on this beast and it wails like no other. It's got that extra 24th fret that doesn't really do much for me but it's cool to have anyway. One of the only things that bother me are the pegs on the back of the guitar. There is just no way to keep your strap were you need it, but it's worth it.

Comments about B.C. Rich TWBSTO Trace Warbeast Electric Guitar:

If your looking for a beautiful guitar that everyone will awe at this is it, however the pickups are a little weak. Personally, I like the sound of Seymour Duncan Active Humbuckers, but thats just me. EMG's sound great as well, but I recommend some new pickups for this axe. As for sitting down and playing, I'm 6'1" and have pretty good sized legs and I just play it like a V comfortably. No you can't play it like a Strat. Play it like a V!
