A radical silhouette, neck-through design and Floyd Rose tremolo.

The list of Warlock players is as long as B.C. Rich's history. It is this storied history that places the Warlock high on the iconic guitar shelf. The NJ Series Warlock Electric Guitar is an ideal choice if you're ready to step up the ladder to one of the more deluxe B.C. Rich models and stay within budget.

This Warlock has all of the features that performing rockers crave for maximum tone and playability. The mahogany body is built with neck-through construction and a mahogany neck for improved sustain. It has an ebony fretboard that's super smooth with a comfortable 12" radius and 24 jumbo frets. Duncan Designed Blackout pickups produce the tones you seek while a Floyd Rose tremolo offers serious dive-bombing control. Black hardware is used throughout including die-cast tuners.

Comments about B.C. Rich NJ Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

This is seriously a 5 star instrument. I've owned high end guitars ESP (not LTD) and other BC Rich guitars. I have to say this is a really very well put together guitar and sounds amazing.

Neck/Headstock: The neck is not huge but it is not small either, a big plus for me. I've heard others say this is a HUGE neck....I wouldn't say huge. My ESP MII had a pretty huge neck, almost 2x4ish. This is smaller than that. Gibson SGs for the most part have huge necks.......this is not that. The binding is superbly done and being white contrasts well so you don't get lost while shredding. The head stock seems a little small, however, warlocks from years ago with the large headstock were notorious for neck dive. This is balanced well, not perfect.....with a nylon strap is seems like it wants to start to dive but does not. Use a leather strap and you won't notice a thing. Then again every guitar will have different weights for the neck and the body. This is neck thru and contrary to the listings that say it is a 24.6" scale however this measures at 25.5" scale length. The grover tuners seem to be minis, probably to help balance the guitar....but they feel grinding and they are smooth and tight.

Body: It's a beautiful radical shape. At approximately 1.75" thick this is a big chunk of wood in a good way. It is weighty, though some guitars may be lighter or heavier than mine. Some guys may not like that there is no contour for your arm, it can dig in a bit depending on how high or low you play the guitar. In regards to that, not to sound cliche', but a little pain seems to fit the styling of this almost seems right. It's metal after all. ;) Maybe you are looking at getting this guitar for your next blues project.......but my guess is that this is not the case for most of the guitar players out there.
