Comments about Blueridge Historic Series BR-183 000 Acoustic Guitar:

The BR-183 is an incredible guitar that sounds every bit as good if not better than it looks.

The finish is flawless with abalone inlay throughout. The Sitka spruce top sings while the rosewood sides and back give it a tone most pleasing. The frets are nicely rolled on a bound mahoganey neck topped with a solid ebony fingerboard. The ebony bridge is firmly anchored and gives it great sustain.

I am mainly a finger picker and the low action is excellant for that along with its solid straight neck.

I prefer it to other OOO or OM guitars costing several times more, I would dare you to tell the difference blindfolded!

After playing a lot of different guitars over more than 40 years I can truly say this is one of the best ever.

I have been playing this guitar for more than 5 years now and I never get tired of it.

Comments about Blueridge Historic Series BR-183 000 Acoustic Guitar:

This feels great in my hands the action is low kinda on the buzzer side I will leave it, can't have it both ways. Has a real warm tone, Just a beautiful guitar, finish is flawless. I played a lot of guitars on the search for this one. It came down to the Blueridge and the Taylor parlor guitar. I played the Taylor it was made of the same woods, I did not the Blueridge. I knew then that these HPL guitars was no longer cutting it with me. I took the gamble, order the Blueridge and it paid off. I would say this, if you are going to spend 700 on a guitar hold off and save up for the blueridge you cant beat the woods, the tone and price. It was way Less than half the Taylor.
