Comments about Breedlove Atlas Series Stage J350/EFe Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I have only had one other acoustic which was a mid-level Seagull coastline,so I'm making my comparisons from owning that guitar and I have played every acoustic inside the guitar center acoustic room including Martins,Taylor,Breedloves,Seagulls,Epiphone and Gibsons.
So right off the bat my Breedlove jumbo feels big and awesome and projects lots of sound but is not uncomfortable to play, my seagull was a dreadnaught and that guitar was hard to play compared to the Breedlove. I love that the breedlove has the cutaway at the 12th fret and a built in tuner/eq/preamp. I was only looking for a nice plain acoustic and never realized that was included until after I played the guitar for about 20 minutes and decided I was taking her home.
The neck is a perfect size I don't know the exact detail but feel's perfect not to big or to small, the neck on my seagull was to big and wide, that was the only reason I went back and traded it.
So the Breedlove atlas i own now has a lovely tone and is the kind of acoustic where you can actually play lead and do nice acoustic runs on it. Once it's setup by a pro luthier your not going to be able to put it down. The guitar is wonderful for chording and fingerstyle as well. I would say the guitar came from the factory at a 9/10 for setup and play-ability, I'm just picky and like my action as low as I can without it buzzing. I play more electric so I got to get my fingers strong enough to do some of the music I like to play on an acoustic.
I watched a really accomplished player do a number on this guitar I own and he was getting harmonics I had no idea lived on that fret board, so this Breedlove is totally capable if you are an accomplished player of doing all that fancy candyrat label music like Andy Mckee
The frets are nice and big, bone nut, really nice solid tuners. The little gizmo that slips into the sound hole to stop feedback really makes the guitar look even cooler. This brings me to the look's, I was going for an acoustic that was no frills just a good player, I have always stayed away from acoustics because they were to hard to play for me but this one is not like that and the look's are amazing.
I didn't notice when I was demoing the guitar but when I got home I seen all the binding in abalone around the whole guitar, and gorgeous fret markers in mother of pearl, the wood has the craziest flame I've ever seen on a guitar, unreal looking. I wasn't crazy about the head stock shape but now that has even grown on me.
So in wrapping up this guitar review not only are the looks amazing but the guitar sound's the part and can play all the different genres of music out there, from the Beatles to Everlast and Neil Young and so many more,I'm drawing a huge blank but it can pull off any tone you need.
I would recommend this in a second and it comes with the most gorgeous case I have ever seen, absolutely amazing and so sturdy. Buy this now or the model that took it's place. Heck buy what ever Breedlove you can afford, She knows what she is doing when it come's to building acoustic guitars.

Comments about Breedlove Atlas Series Stage J350/EFe Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Bought this Guitar as a Birthday present for myself. Man was it the right choice! I have only been playing (taking lessons) for just under a year, but have been really working had at it. I have literally tried dozens of acoustic guitars in ranges from a few hundered all the way up to the expensive Taylors and Martins in the thousands range.
It is absolutely georgeous! and the sound is crisp, loud and clear...great range of highs, lows and mids. The thing that I can really apprecaite is, that because I am a novice guitar player, the easier the guitar plays, the more I play/practice, sometimes I don't want to put it away (drives my wife crazy). The more I play, the better I get and even my wife and son have notice a huge improvement in my playing.
The one thing I noticed on this website, the LR Baggs Pre-amp/Tuner is considerablb different than the one shown in the picture.
For the price, this guitar cannot be beaten! All of my friends who have been playing for years, are envious and love the way it plays and sounds.
Comments about Breedlove Atlas Series Stage J350/EFe Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I just received my second Breedlove after the 1st one had very high action near the bridge/saddle. Believe it or not the 1st one MF sent was a refurb! (I didn't buy a refurb, nor do I want one) The second didn't appear to be a refurb, but the action was too high. Apparently it had "swelled" during storage. Breedlove has an excellent customer service rep and they will be taking care of the guitar, with replacement and free pro set up. It will be very hard for me to buy another guitar from MF, as this is my 3rd one within a year with structural issues.
