Extremely versatile choice

Comments about Breedlove Focus Acoustic Guitar With Case:

When my strummer guitar developed a pronounced belly at the bridge, I went looking for a new instrument. I wanted something that approached the tonal richness and complexity of my Huss and Dalton OO-SP when played fingerstyle, yet could hold its own without compression under a hard strum and could sing out on bluegrass crosspicking. I tried Breedlove because the bridge truss promised structural robustness, but I was surprised how much lively top-end tone I got in the bargain. The cedar top delivers the mellow richness I was looking for while single bass notes remain tight and focused. Especially important to me is the wider 1-3/4" neck which suits me perfectly for crossing over between fingerstyle and pick style playing. The Taylor influence invites comparison and I played several before coming back to the Breedlove for the confidence in the design, the playability and the SOUND in all kinds of playing.

Best Acoustic ever!

By Christ-is-King

Comments about Breedlove Focus Acoustic Guitar With Case:

I was in the market for a Taylor for the last few years. In the process I ran into this guitar at a store in Jersey and put the Taylor on the back burner. As soon as I strummed it I was in love. The warm tones combined with the string blend is like nothing I've ever played. It allows very distinct voice tones with different chording interpretations. It feels like your playing an electric with its extremely low action and classical is nearly as simple as playing a nylon guitar. This guitar is by far the best acoustic I've ever played and I highly doubt I will ever find one I like more.

Amazing

Comments about Breedlove Focus Acoustic Guitar With Case:

For those of you who have not played a Breedlove I highly recommend it. Yes, the Focus is rather high when it comes to cost but this is one of those that is actually worth it. I've owned Martin's, Taylor's, and now Breedlove and nothing can touch the sound I get with Breedlove. It combines the lows from a Martin with the highs of a Taylor. The bracing system used is also great. If you're looking at a Taylor or Martin, trust me, save another month and by a Breedlove Focus, you'll be much happier.
