It allows you to cross the barriers of classical and into jazz, funk and latin rhythms. it also has that yatchy flamenco sound.
wonderful sound. nice balance across strings and up the fretboard. excellent intonation. very easy action, playing it's a dream. fretboard is slightly narrower than my other classicals. mine is outfitted with a b-band pre-amp, very even amplified sound, best i've achieved playing live. wonderful tones, extremely versatile, a great gig guitar. highly recommended for the $$$.
Being a "crossover player," I was looking for an instrument that would give a defined LOUD tone, and lower string height than most classicals. I sure found it!
This guitar is a good value. You won't go wrong with it.
I bought this guitar about a week ago. The action is excellent, the harmonics are perfect, the resonance if wonderful, the electronics are good. It is a wonderful guitar for the price.
I play my Cordoba in church at bar gigs for covers, and in the studio for session work. It has great acoustic sound and it only gets better when it's plugged in. All the sound techs love it and with some compression and a Boss chorus ensemble, it is the best guitar you will ever play.
Owned for about 3 years and the guitar has bell like highs and deep bass, especially on the 6th string. A good value and a must consider in the pricerange.
I play mostly at home and sometimes play with a couple of my friends. Mine is a 2005 model. It sounds wonderful. very Spanish! beautiful cut and color. Quality workmanship. It sounds even better when I plug it into the amplifier. very strong sound and well defined. Unlike others mentioned here I do not have to take the strings out to change the battery for ellectronice. I release the latch and pull out the electronic compartment to access the battery. I other acoustic/electric classical guitars. Cordoba sounds better compared to others in that price range. I upgraded mine from a C5-CE to this one. I think it worth the price if you can do it.
You can't go wrong with a Cordoba. Best guitar I've ever played.
this guitar is superior to any other classical guitar. the sound quality is amazing, almost like it has built in reverb.
