Features:
Quality:

A few blemishes on the body by the knobs. Also an error in the headstock finish. The cover for the electroics is fimsy at best.

Value:

Love this guitar plain and simple.

Overall:

As soon as I got mt Dean I took it to the local shop to have the tech there to give it a once over and tune it. He was surprised when he picked it up that it was so light. Annotation and action where great no warping or buzz. Electronics were solid. As for sound I couldn't tell ya, I own a  Yamaha 25w practice amp that just won't die, a friend gave to me. But it does sound good through the Rocksmith in-game amp mode through my A/V rack. Pick-ups seem a bit low, volume seems muted (game&amp) beats the heck out of my hollow-body Stagg though!

Features:

i bought  a D.Vendetta guitar i was disapointed in the way it looked the color on the body, no shine at all ,and didn't look like wood as shown on the picture ,so i bought some,, lemon oil cleaner and conditioner by planet wave and i bought restore deep cleaning cream care buy planet wave, from this site , i took the strings off removed the tuning nubs and opened the pickups, and i used the lemon oil cleaner and conditioner ,and cleaned the body with it then i dried off the body and then put on the restore deep cleaning and cream care, rubbed it in good ,then i let it sit for a few minutes then i got a clean cloth a soft one , and rubbed (buffed it in ) i was so surprised at the shine and could see the redwood color come out , i buffed more and more ,,the more i buffed the more beautiful the body looked ,then i let it sit over night the next day i got another soft cloth and rubbed more ,i can;t say enough HOW NICE THE BODY LOOKS,, what a BIG difference it made,,i can honestly say i was real disappointed in how it looked when i first got it but now i am happy , i will say mine started falling apart because the company didn't screw in the parts good but i fixed it all ,it does play good has good frets and toners  ..so if you want it to shine i say buy the lemon oil cleaner and the restore cream, follow the instructions on the bottles , you will be amazed how well they work and what a difference it makes to the body MUSH nicer, my friends can't believe its the same guitar,,,neither can i... this is a good guitar for the price ....

First guitar

| Review By: christopher payne | 4 months, 5 days ago

Features:

As a first guitar, it is nice to not have a tremelo or floating bridge. Just push the stings through and tighten to tune. The tuning knobs feel pretty study and have a nice bit of a finish to them.

Quality:

This rating could have been higher if not for a few errors in production and/or set up.

The string action is only slightly off, which is of no real concern and easy to fix.

There are gaps in the neck pocket. (Normally, this would be a prime concern when talking about sustain.) This has allowed the neck to be slightly off set causing the high e sting to nearly not be over the fret board near the body. It is aligned fine at the lower end. The opposite is true of the low E. It is fine at the lower end, but has about a 1/4 inch from the edge of the fret board at the upper end near the body.

The bridge itself is not centered which also contributes to the bad alignment on the strings.

I had to take one of the back cover plates off and bend the tension on the input jack because my cord kept falling out.

This hardly affects the ability to play as a first timer’s guitar.

Value:

It was cheap so value is gonna be good so long as it plays.

Overall:

The ability to play out of the box and not have to get things set up  in any fashion is very nice. Just open the box, tune it, and play.  It is light and easy to handle, and is very comfortable.

My  wife has 4 other guitars and they cost, in one case, 25x what this one  does, however, she feels this guitar is not bad at for what you are paying.

Features:

i was not happy with this guitar when i got it, it didn't look anything like it shows in the picture i want the natural stained wood as it shows in the picture with a little shine  , it don't look nothing at all like that,or had any shine,,,,,?  but my friend said it was a good guitar for the price that it has  good frets good sound , and yes i agree i was truly disappointed in the looks .. so i got some guitar wax  and waxed it up nice it brought the redwood color out  and gave it some shine  ,really improved the look, but i have only played on it a few times and its already falling apart ,one of the turn volume controls broke,i haven't even used that part yet sense i am just learning, and the nut keeps comming loose i wish i would of sent it back from the get go like i wanted to,shore  its a low price guitar , but i still don't want it falling apart on me ,, i have been very careful  with this guitar just because ,that's the way i am with my belongings ,i take care of what i have so it last, i will NOT buy another D,Vendetta guitar again,,
