Comments about Epiphone Casino Coupe Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

This is the sound I was looking for. I have a Strat and a Les Paul and they sound great, but this Casino Coupe is the sound I was looking for. Plugged straight into a tube amp, no effects, set to clean just a smidge before break up using your volume knob to push you over that edge. Fantastic!

Being a hollow body, it's also loud enough (not acoustic loud) unplugged for quiet practice. Fit and finish are excellent. Not a single blemish, no sharp frets, no bad spots on the neck (filter made me edit the phrase I normally use describe dud notes on the neck). Intonation was very close right out of the box so set up was a breeze. Nut is cut/fit correctly. Machine heads allow fine adjustment and hold tuning well once you break in the strings with an hour or so of playing. Stock pickups are perfect (for my ears and the tone I'd been chasing). Volume/tone controls roll smoothly with enough resistance to stay put.

Epi's ES339 hardcase fits the Casino Coupe like a glove if you're looking for one.

Comments about Epiphone Casino Coupe Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I own many guitars. High end Gibson's and Fender's as well as other pro brands. I own an Epiphone Casino. I wanted a Casino style hollow body with better access to top frets. This one has the same reach as an ES-335. The guitar arrived in near perfect setup. In Las Vegas, all guitars have to adjust to the extreme dryness of the atmosphere here. A little tweak of the truss rod got the guitar in stellar playing condition! The fretwork is perfect; the finish is beautiful and the pickups sound great!

Comments about Epiphone Casino Coupe Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I'm an apartment player. I use it for noodling, practicing, jamming over songs and background tracks. It is light and comfortable and easy to play. I love the tone of the P90s with the small hollowbody thinline. I enjoy playing it more than my Gibson ES339.

There was fret buzz when I got it, but I took it back and some of the frets had popped, Guitar tech with a rubber mallet fixed the problem.

Well made guitar with no flaws in the workmanship or finish. This quality control on Epiphone guitars is better than on the Gibson guitars I have bought.

I hated the pickups, but replaced them with humbuckers. The guitar turned out beautifully. So light, so resonant- comfortable and easy to play. A steal at the price.

Comments about Epiphone Casino Coupe Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I love this guitar! I have had Casinos before but I really prefer the smaller body size (339) of this guitar. No flaws in the finish, no sharp frets or buzzes. Plays and sounds amazing. I may end up buying another one for my son since he likes mine so much. Epiphone makes great guitars and they are priced right.

I bought this as a level 2 blemished but I can't find a scratch on it. Thanks for the discount.

Comments about Epiphone Casino Coupe Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I've always loved this style of guitar. My first guitar was a Harmony Rocket way back when. Now that I just play at home or record I thought I would try out this smaller Coupe size Casino and I'm glad I did. Not much difference in sound from it's big brother but much more comfortable for me to play. Still loud enough unplugged to noodle around with but through your favorite amp it sounds just like all those 60's hits. Everything from mellow jazzy tone to Revolution style natural overdrive. If you're thinking about trying one of these out I can recommend everything about it. P. S. I bought the Vintage Sunburst.

Comments about Epiphone Casino Coupe Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I had been eyeing the John Lennon Inspired Casino for about a year and a lightly used one had shown up in a local store. I went in, checked it out and thought that I would be back to buy it the next payday. Before payday rolled around, I came across Epiphone's pre-release ad for the Casino Coupe. This put the brakes on the JLI Casino purchase, at least until I knew the pricing and got my hands on the Coupe. I had always liked the size of the 339s, but there hadn't been a hollowbody that size.

So I waited for almost an entire year before they made their way up to my part of Canada, but one of the local music stores finally received stock and so I went down and was immediately impressed with the playability, size, weight, fit and finish of the one they had in stock. Unfortunately it was a sunburst and I wanted the natural. So no problem, one was on its way and would be instore within a week or so. Great, I thought, and went home to wait. Well that evening I saw an ad online....some guy was selling his Casino Coupe in natural with an Epiphone padded soft case for three hundred Canadian. I phoned immediately, and was worried it would be stolen or some sort of scam. Nope, it was legit. He's a professional musician who is getting a bit older and wanted to see if the smaller body could replace his full sized Casino. And for him the answer was no, and his wife said his guitar collection already took up enough space so it had to go. He explained that he barely used the guitar, and only at home, so it was like new, he even had the receipt.

I paid him and brought it home where it has become my go to guitar for almost every occasion. I especially like that it has a very nice tone when played acoustically. It isnt as loud as an acoustic guitar which means it's great for playing or practicing late at night. Basically i think this is one of the best purchases i have ever made. I have owned it for about a year and i still love it.
