    A Perfectly Good Guitar

An outstanding value. Don't let the tuning comment fool you. I have yet to own a guitar that would hold its tuning more than a few hours the first time you use the string set. It's a beginner rig, too, so learning to tune is a plus, not a negative. Also, derogatory comments about the humbucker or any other component are meaningless. If you want components that would satisfy a snobby audiophile, go ahead and blow all your money on a guitar you may never play, or one that will get left on a loading dock somewhere and stolen. For the rest of us, having gear you can just play or even mod is a bonus. Most negative comments about a reputable product like this one are usually made by people who don't play professionally or even at all. They pay for upscale gear they don't know how to use.

I got this guitar out of a pawnshop. The humbucker is junk, and the tuners couldn't hold tuning for anything. Only after I swapped the crappy stock pup for a 57 Classic and installed some Grover tuners did this thing started to come alive. The neck is actually pretty decent, for being an Epi. Good guitar for beginners, but for anyone with experience this guitar is going to need some serious modification.

First off, this guitar is amazing!!! I got this guitar over 5 years ago and it is still running fine!!!! The single humbucker provides a powerful punch that sounds great. The sound is great and the only problem for me is that the knobs on the guitar can mess up and it will take some fixing. Overall, great guitar for beginner!

I don't own the amplifier package," only the guitar.      I've had it for a few years now and it's my go-to ""rocker"" guitar with that much needed punch when switching from a softer pop feel into the more harder edged stuff.      I have only used it in practice situations", and since it's not an expensive, top of the line model, I rated it at a 9 pretty much across the board merely to note that fact.      Stays in tune and packs a good whallop, with great tone.      I do find it's a bit on the small side for your average built adult male, but it's still a great electric that would make a respectable beginning guitar for younger guys wanting to get started on a quality axe.

The epiphone junior les paul is great for beginners. It has good tone and sounds great with most effect petals. It's very easy to get around the neck and the humbucker pickup covers blues to shrieking rock guitar solos. It's a great guitar for the money.
