The Music Man Axis HH with Roasted Neck Electric guitar has a thermally-treated roasted neck that not only looks great but adds dimensional stability and resistance to temperature, humidity changes and warping. It has reduced density while maintaining stiffness for a lighter neck with sufficient strength. The roasted neck offers increased resonance, less damping, and clearer tone. The heating process also gives a microstructure similar to naturally aged woods with lower moisture content and eliminates the need for hazardous chemical treatments.

In addition to the roasted neck, this Axis HH has a basswood body with a bookmatched figured maple top gives it an especially elegant look. Its select maple neck is attached with 5 bolts for perfect alignment and no shifting. The joint is sculpted and neck plate flush mounted to allow smooth access to the highest frets. Pickups are 2 custom DiMarzio humbuckers with 3-way switching. Schaller tuners with pearl buttons. Music Man Floyd Rose-licensed locking tremolo (lowers pitch only). Includes a Music Man hardshell case.
