Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

I recently sold a G&L Legacy after 5 years of trying to bond with it. Great guitar, but not for me, even though I liked it better than any Fender Stratocaster I've ever played. So, I've been shopping Ibanez Prestige RGs, Jackson Dinky Pros and Charvel Pro-mods. I was ready to pull the trigger on a used RG3550mz (and probably a new Jackson DK2 if I'm being honest), when my buddy at GC put this Music Man Cutlass in my hands. Game over. When picking it up, you first notice the light weight, then realize the build quality. It feels like excellence. The neck on this thing plays better than the RG or DK2, both of which are great. The Cutlass plays effortlessly. The sustain is unbelievable. The silent circuity works perfectly without messing with the sound at all. The trem only takes the strings flat, but it does so all the way without going out of tune. The only thing I would change on this guitar is to put a humbucker in the bridge position. This is the best Strat-type guitar I've ever played. Mick Mars is rocking one with a humbucker and a Floyd Rose. It rox!

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

Got the Ivory White Cutlass and all I can say is this has got to be the best production guitar on the market today. It was flawless as far as build quality and fit and finish. I just got it back from my setup guy and he was impressed. If you dont have one and are thinking about it, get one.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

Got the Ivory white Cutlass two days ago. Got a great deal here and if is at my guitar setup guy right now. Only thing taking a little getting used to are the standard height frets. Used to medium jumbo but that wont take long.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

Just bought the white with maple fretboard. I was tired of fret wear on my big name double cuts. The Stainless frets on the Cutlass are immaculate, the smooth bending is great. I have been converted. If I want the SRV tone, just roll off the highs and bang there it is. If I want it to scream, it will do that also. Just a great upgrade!!!! The silent circuit works. Its will still have a small amount of noise with massive gain, but thats any guitar. I will be keeping my strats for practice, but will be also getting another one of these. I am a Musicman player now.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass Trem Maple Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

Good instrument, although the noise cancelling circuitry does not seem to really work...it is about the same as most decently sheilded S type guitars, and I have not yet heard back from EBMM about what I might try.
When the battery compartment is touched /brushed with clothing it can also make a little noise, more like a microphonic type sound. I would really like to feel good about this purchase,so am hoping they get back to me soon.

-also,there were no adjustment wrenches that came with it?!
