With a Floyd Rose bridge and EMG pickups this guitar rocks like no other.

The LTD EC-I000 FR guitar has a mahogany body with a select maple top and a rosewood fretboard. The thin U-shaped mahognay neck with 24 extra jumbo frets provides comfort and speed. EMG 81/60 active pickups provide plenty of power and note definition. Controls include 2 volumes, one tone and a 3-way selector switch. The Floyd Rose bridge is unique to this member of the EC-1000 models and is rarely found in guitars with a 24-3/4" scale length. Black nickel hardware and abalone inlays finish off a great look.

very nice lp style with floyd. solid construction, good tone. take my advice and block the floyd so you can't pull up  and the guitar stays in tune better. Also added the evh dtuna, very cool. pickups are added bonus cause I add emgs to all my guitars. only complaint is it should come with a case for the price.

I purchased this guitar four mos. ago, I ordered it on a sunday it arrived TUESDAY!! So much for GREAT SHIPPING!! it arrived well packed and intact, (really wish the case was included) As a proffessional guitarist for the last 30 yrs. I have made it a policy NOT to buya guitar without a case but I made an exception for this guitar because it had ALL the features I was looking for as a Metal VET!, First off I set the guitar up for an e-flat tuning and restrung it with 009,s then I plugged it in and the OOMPH I was expecting from the EMG's was nowhere so I immediadtely checked the battery and it was almost DEAD I popped in a new one and WOW instantly transformed to a Punchy crunchy tight beast!! great neck, very light, floyd was alittle stiff but overall an EXCEPTIONAL GUITAR for the price, Very satisfied customer.

This guitar is a joy to play I got this thing 2 months ago and I am absolutely addicted to its sound and playability. the neck is so fast and smooth and it holds a tune better than any guitar I have ever seen in my life. This thing will NEVER go out of tune on you and for me that is major. I cant stand having to constantly split hairs trying to tune some other guitars. I love the feel of the finish, the weight, it is very comfortable to hold due the contour of the body. I looked at a ton of other guitars for weeks and weeks on end and stayed up late deliberating over what would be the best purchase to make because my money is tight and I have never second guessed my choice to buy this thing. It makes everything you play sound so clear and tight and there is no fret noise whatsoever, every note rings out clear and true. I can't say enough good about this guitar.

Overall:
I've played guitar for 13 years, and I have owned many different guitars.  This guitar is by far my favorite (better than Gibson Studio, Jackson DK, Fender Strat).  The action is perfect (of course with a few adjustments), and the sound is superb (EMG's baby!).  Plus, it never goes out of tune (locking tuners + FR tremelo).  The build quality is about par with Fender/Jackson, which means it is much better than Gibson Studios.  Looks gorgeous, especially compared to the overpriced Gibson Studio.  My only complaints is no case is included, can't leave plug in guitar cuz it will drain the pickup battery, and FR takes 3 times as long to string.  I don't understand why so many people buy Gibson Studios when there are so many other cheaper guitars that are much better in every way like this one or an American Strat.  If you can't afford a Gibson Standard, you shouldn't buy a Gibson at all.

Just got my ESP EC-1000 today! Top quality people! The emgs really bring this gweeter to life! Very very outstanding when playing clean, and brutal when distorted! I was surprised how light it was, and how perfect the look was! No scratches what so ever! I would have paid more for this guitar! Get one and enjoy the best playing experience of your life!!
