This is my first guitar and I am very pleased with it for the money. the pickups are great but could be better. and the action was ok when it came but one of the pickup screws was loose, but overall i am very satisfied with this guitar
I do not own this guitar but i have played one at a store a i found one and played it. it played great the pick ups are good but it could use some emgs its not really a guitar you could sit down with and play because of the v shape to it. but over all this guitar is the best. im going to try to buy it.
This is a pretty sweet guitar to look at.It has a metal sound to it but very nice range of music types. If you like Metal or Hard Rock buy this guitar because, Good looks, isn't the only thing that will get the ladies attention.
I tried this guitar at a local shop while shopping around for another guitar. I played this while sitting down on a stool and found it a little awkward (but that's expected from a V guitar) but that was probably the only thing awkward about it. the neck was fast, the pickups were a treat for my ears, and the actual guitar was a beautiul sight to see. the only thing that stopped me from buying that guitar on spot was because i hadn't looked anywhere else
This guitar is the bomb! The pickups sound so good(clean or distorted) that i recommend this to any hardcore metalist. It has a very metal look and feal to it. If you have never used xj frets before then it will take some getting used to. I only had to do one thing to it when i got it, and it was put new strings on. I am in a band that plays metallica songs and kiss so it has some range to it. Well hope you can buy this awesome guitar
My expectations were pretty low. The V-200 is only my second guitar, so I read about what all the guy's I listen to are using, and this matched...none of those things. But I needed a good guitar for a low price, and I love this thing!First off, I love the shape, if you're into V's then you'll have no problems adapting to the sitting. I love that there are two volume knobs on it, so I can get a quick kill if I'm talking or whatever, and it can give a kill button effect. The pickups are better then I expected for stock. They can play just about anything and sound good doing it. The neck is heavier then the body, which is a little draw back, but I've gotten used to it. The neck is nice and thin, really fast for shredding. It's a little on the wider side, which means the case is huge, and you have to be careful in tight spaces. Though I've banged the crap out of this thing on...everything, and there are only paint chips on the edges. So for what you're paying, this is probably one of the best guitars around.
This guitar is AMAZING!! When you hold this guitar people will definatly watch. The neck is fast so you can shred until you can't shred anymore. Only two minor negative marks, the guitar is a little neck heavy but no big deal its still awesome. The next is the stock PUPS (pick-ups), are lacking something. Don't get me wrong it sounded good out of the box but good isn't enough. So I pucked up some EMG 81 and 85 now it sounds GREAT. GREAT GUITAR ESP THANKS!!!!
Wow. This guitar is amazing. I've had it for about 2 months, and I plug it into my PODxt live, and it sounds amazing. For the price, its pretty much a steal, because I'm convinced theres nothing better for metal on the market at this price. The esp lh300 set pickups sound almost identical to 81 85s, and the neck is amazingly fast.My only thing is that the corners chip easy, but its ok, just paint back over it if it bothers you.
This guitar is all you need for metal. The ESP pickups can almost pass for EMG's and the shape of the neck makes shredding so smooth. It sounds awesome dirty or clean I love it! 5 stars for sure.
I bought the left handed version and love it. I have a Gibson Flying V as well, and intended this as a back up, but I find myself turninhg to the V-200 more and more. Great guitar for the price and I like the longer neck.
