Join the celebration to honor the guitar that changed popular music forever.

The ™75 Telecaster is a model that takes its
most unusual cue from another classic
Fender instrument, the 1975 Jazz Bass
guitar. That means an ash body with a Natural
finish and a maple neck with black block
inlays, with an arm contour, 3-ply
black-white-black pickguard, and Jazz Bass
control knobs.

On its 1951 introduction, the Telecaster was a
revolutionary instrument that would usher in
whole new eras of musical innovation and
excitement. Sixty years later, in 2011, it is an
archetypal electric guitar with a long and
storied history. The rich history of Fender
guitars begins with the Telecaster, and Fender is
celebrating its 60th anniversary all year with
12 very special "Tele-bration" models that
stay inside the Telecaster's famously elegant
lines while offering the finest and most
unusual takes on the instrument's past,
present and future.

Comments about Fender 60th Anniversary 1975 Telecaster Electric Guitar:

If you're looking for a tele give this one a shot. Very broad amount of tones available. Knobs feel great too.
Humbucker in the neck, Single Coil in the Bridge. Gibson like setup with 3 way toggle selector, 2 volumes and 2 tones. Four bolt neck plate with bullet truss rod. vintage frets and radius. Contoured body
This guitar feels great, looks great, and sounds great. Huge fat cleans in the neck and nice bright bridge tone for those classic tele twangs. Very versatile and comfortable guitar.
Excellent value. Of course we'd all love to see it cost a little bit less, but this is a great guitar - one of the better ones in Fender's line up in my opinion.

Comments about Fender 60th Anniversary 1975 Telecaster Electric Guitar:

This guitar, for the price is a steal for a legendary guitar made on a limited run of 500. It's got a clean and jazzy humbucker in the neck and a classic single coil for a bit more edge to get you that little kick you might be looking for from a bridge pickup. The ash body and maple neck (bolted with a limited 60th anniversary Telebration plate on the back) make for a rather light body, which for many, is a plus (me included).

The one bonus for me is the bevelled bout where the picking arm comes down, so there is no edge to rub against. The black on natural wood is striking in the picture and looks stunning up close in your hands--the aesthetic of paying homage to the jazz bass with the Tele in mind was well thought out and superbly crafted.

Finally, this instrument did come with a case, despite it not being listed in the 'accessories' section, so don't order a second one. This is a custom guitar for a near entry level price to "Telebrate" an all-American original. Good luck and happy jamming.
