The 21st century way to rock Tele style!

Tone, tradition and innovation. Fender’s new American Deluxe Telecaster® is the 21st century way to rock with a Telecaster, graced by the added distinction of a traditional ash body. The compound radius fretboard allows effortless string bending anywhere along the neck, and staggered locking tuners improve tuning stability for stunt guitarists who like to bend behind the nut. New N3 Noiseless™ pickups provide improved Telecaster tones for snappy bell-like chime with no the hum; other features include S-1™ switching and chromed brass bridge saddles.

Fender N3 Noiseless pickups N3 Noiseless pickups deliver the best of yesterday and today, because they deliver landmark vintage Fender tone and response without the hum that can plague single-coil pickups. Using an improved stacked coil-coil design, N3 Noiseless pickups are specially tailored for each Telecaster pickup position. The insulated metal core of each pickup position type differs in thickness and composition for enhanced tone, and Fender has fine-tuned the sized, shape, and wire gauge of the coils to balance the magnetic responsiveness essential to great tone. N3 Noiseless pickups represent a welcome return to the warmth and clarity of alnico magnets. Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

Features:

I bought the fender deluxe telecaster guitar because of the compound radius neck and the other up grades-s1switch and the n1 pickups.I also loved the color and the ash body gives it a better sound. This is a great playing guitar. I love the sound.

I received my purchase in a timely manor and was very excited, but when I opened it, I noticed it was about two shades darker than the picture on the website. After close examination,I seen 4-5 blemishes on the neck. Although the guitar played very good write out of the box(after being tuned) I could not deal with the blemishes.Even though the color was darker than shown,I could get used to that.I called customer service and they were very nice and helpful and paid for the return charges. I am currently awaiting the delivery of my new Tele. guitar.

Quality:

I am giving this guitar only a 7 because of the blemishes on the neck and head stock. I looked at two others and seen none. Factory defect.Other than the blemishes it was great.

Value:

The price was good, but because of the blemishes, I could only give it a 7.

Overall:

I had to send this guitar back because of the blemishes in the neck and the color was wrong, but I could have been ok with the color. I think the blemishes in the neck of this guitar I received was over looked at the factory. I own a 1973 U.S. strat,a1983 U.S. and a 2009 U.S. strat.and a 2011,814ce Taylor.None of these the issues like that.

After calling customer service, who were very nice,I sent the guitar back(prepaid!) and am awaiting the arrival of my new American Deluxe Telecaster.

I just got it previous week. Was eyeing on that guitar for some time, but could not get it since was not satisfied with previous models. However, with 2010 they really improved the design. The thing that I really like is a compound radius. I can get action on it that low without any buzz that it is scary. You can get even lower than that, but than you?ll never feel the strings. Ash body, maple neck is perfect combination for my taste of the sound. Those noiseless pick-ups are really good. In short, my recommendation is if the money is not a question I would highly recommend. It is pricey, but worth every penny spent. I like this guitar very much. Folks at Fender, you rock!!!

The Fender American Deluxe Tele is the best guitar I have in my collection! Not only is it easy to play, but it is the quietest Tele out there. The N3 pick-ups sound smooth as silk, and the neck IS smooth as silk! It has that great Tele blues twang, but at the flick of button, rockin' out is possible! I have finally found a guitar that I will never part ways with!

#1-THIS IS THE ONE

This is the most versatile, best sounding, easy to play, beautiful, eye-catching, proud-to-own, fun, enjoyable guitar I've ever owned.  I always loved Telecasters and I also own a Mexican, but this one is the cream of the crop.  When I was looking at guitars, I was torn between this model and the 52 R.I., but I chose this one for the updated tuners and S-1.  You can use this guitar in any style: Country, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Metal..anything.  The tones are in this guitar and make any guitarist sound 100 times better.  I use this guitar in my rock band and on Sunday mornings I use it in my church praise team.  Do not wait and buy this now-you will not regret it.
