OVERVIEW

A Special Run Fender Telecaster built just for us with tons of tone options and a killer look.

Special Run Fender Telecaster built just for us! Featuring a body of select chambered mahogany, the modern C-shaped maple neck and Master Delta Tone controls, this electric guitar is the perfect blend of classic and modern. Built to be beautiful and last a lifetime, this axe has the traditional Tele body and headstock shape, but the headstock is painted black, the plastic parts are all black, and all the hardware is chrome. It just looks --well, sexy!

American Tele Single-Coil pickups are part of the Delta Tone System - including a high-output bridge pickup and a special No-Load tone control, providing more gain, more high end, and a little more "raw" tone. Get the smooth sound you expect from a Tele, but then crank it to 10 and rattle some bones!

Six chromed bridge saddles allow fine tuning to your intonation, and Fender/Schaller Deluxe Staggered cast/sealed tuning machines keep your tuning spot on. 22 medium-jumbo frets let your fingers fly.

I received my FSR Chambered Mahogany Tele yesterday. I bought it when they had it on their stupid deal of the day. I must say that I am more impressed than I thought I would be. The guitar is simply beautiful. The action is fairly low, which I like. I only had to tune it a little. Fit and finish is outstanding. Later, that evening, I picked it back up and it was still in tune. The sound is fantastic. It has a chimy bell like tone, which I love. I play it through my Vox AC30 and it sounds wonderful. I have several other guitars to compare it to-Ric 330 and 350v63, Gretch Tennessee Rose, Epiphone Casino Elitist, Fender CP 69 Player's Strat-This guitar can hold its own with any of them. I highly recommend it.

I've got 4 American Series Teles 2004-6 at home; I know what features, pickups, etc., they have. This is the same guitar, with a chambered 'hog body. I've played quite a few of these, as they've been featured at the sister company's shops for well over a year, closer to two. Not a bad guitar, but this is not a Deluxe, not an American Vintage and therefore should be MSRP'd accordingly. Check out the American Stratocaster FSR in Mahogany for a way better value, IMO. It is, by all rights, an American Deluxe Strat, this Tele is Am Se.

FSR American Telecaster

By Axeman820

from norcal emerald triangle

Took a chance /w Scratch n' Dent, got this Sweet Little Thing! Neck is a dream, this Tele is light as a feather, very quiet (think Lace Noiseless), very responsive to playing style, from sweet bell tone to crunch...I am in Love! If you're looking for that special Telecaster...this is it. My only gripe-Wish Fender would do this in more color options!

chicken pickers dream

By w1reburn

I am a working professional "honky-tonker", and this Tele is Fenders best kept secret. When played thru dual Fender Twins, there is not a Tele out there, new or old, that will compare. I own several vintage Tele's and they rarely get out of the case since I bought this ax 1.5 years ago. Wasn't very happy with the case, but I quickly replaced it. Rock on Fender!

Super Bad' Tele

By UncleJerry'sStudio

from WayDownSouth, MS.

This Tele is flat out awesome.! This joins 5 others in my collection & their all sweet, but the Chambered Mahogany body & Delta tone wiring really give this beauty some bite behind its bark. Mine arived pefect in every way & was begging to be cranked on.(the only draw back is the case Fender throws in. This Tele is so nice I went ahead & purchased a "real" Vintage hard case! Your babies deserve the best! Get this while you can! It will be a collector Tele ! Quarenteed!

Looks good, feels good, sounds good, very nice guitar. After I bought this axe I wanted a little more twang, so I bought an American Deluxe Tele too...another very nice guitar.

Good but don't exaggerate

By Keith G.

from Chicago

Guitar has a very unique tone - as pointed out not the ultra-twang of a standard tele; the delta system is nice in that when you get to the 8+ range on your volume it's going to start screaming.Set-up was terrible...I think someone was playing dobro on this thing before I got it.Case sent is fubared on the clip which locks the case...yikes.

gUITAR oF dESTINY!!!

By Bryan Pelizzoni

from Tulsa OK

It has the sweetest neck feel and not as "tinny" of a sound as a solid body tele, which is what I like about it. I only tuned this guitar maybe twice in a week and I play for at least an hour a day. You can rip Pink Floyd solos one after the other with long drawn out bends and this thing NEVER falls out of tune!! You can't tell much of a difference in the "tone boost" knob though. And the finish on it is just amazing! the wood grain really shows through and is also a little more noticeable than usual on the fretboard. All in all, an A+++ .I will own this guitar for the rest of my life!If it is every lost or stolen ,god help the poor soul in possesion of it. I would Pay to replace it.

chambered Tele

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I used this at my uncles house and it was great. It balanced perfectly with the strap and was light weight. The "chamberness" gives it a little better tone and sustain making it a great guitar. if you don't have it, get it.

amazing tele...

By Taylor_is_the_only_way

from The Big D, Texas

I just bought this guitar today and all I can say is, "wow." Everything about this guitar is amazing. The action was near perfect and the pickups sound awesome-not quite as "twangy" as most tele's. I play in my band and a lot at church, and this is sure to be amazing for both styles of music. The chambered body sounds excellent and feels great, too. I will never let this guitar go and just add it to my collection with my Les Paul and Taylor.
