I play with a gospel group,Rock and Roll band and do solo shows. This guitar handles everything I throw at it. I put a set of 80/20 Bronze wires on it and it sounds top of the line. When I hit the first chord at a solo show (amped), I have heard people say...doesn't that guitar sound great. I beat the heck out of it all the time and it never fails me.. It stays in turn and cleans up with no effort. I had to do a little tweaking on it, but once set up it can't be beat plugged or unplugged.I play along side a GIBSON acoustic sometimes and I'll take the Fender anytime over it.I've thought about buying another more expensive acoustic and I just can't put the Fender down. It works for me.

I am a big Fender fan until it comes to A/E guitars. I honestly would probably never buy a fender acoustic electric. Their necks are always straight, they tend to be busy on the fretboard, this guitar is not solid top and nearly $300. I would really look at Rogue, Tak, Alvarez, Epi, or Ibanez. With thee other guitars you get your money's worth especially with a Rogue. Now the story is different if we want to discuss Fender electrics.

great guitar

By Cory Sellew

from North Carolina

The tunner does not really work that well, but every thing else is great! It sounds good both electric and acoustic, and I got it without a scatch on it.

Good Acoustic

By ray5wittnebenv

from Oostburg, WI

I have had this guitar since Christmas and it is a pretty good guitar. It's great for the price and it's not in cheap condition either. It is great for beginners or people that haven't experienced acoustic guitars yet. If you have been playing acoustic guitar for quite a while and you have been playing nice ones this one probably won't impress you as much as others. It's a pretty standard acoustic-electric and it stays in tune well. The built in tuner is pretty accurate too. I have this guitar in sunburst color and it is a beauty. I usually play it through a Fender Frontman 212R amp on the clean channel and it sounds pretty nice.

Exactly what I was looking for!

By SergeantOwens

from Rapid City

First and foremost, I am very much a novice guitarist. I started playing my friends guitar in Afghanistan to kill time and loved it. So, a few months after getting back (and after getting my tax return) I decided to buy my own acoustic. Being a beginner, I wanted something that I wouldn't feel bad about beating up, but yet something that sounded good and was fairly easy to play. I didn't want some cheap beginner?s value kit, but I didn't want to spend too much either. I took a chance on this one. Out of the box, this guitar was beautiful, and after a quick tune it sounded great even with factory strings. My only two issues were that the electronics panel wasn?t screwed in all the way and as others mentioned, the pick guard is terrible. Other than that, I am highly satisfied. I can?t put it down!

Great Guitar

By jaubrey41393

I bought this guitar to upgrade from a starter kit guitar for the better quality. Pleased to say that I am very pleased. Playing this guitar is easy with a slim neck and good feeling frets. It's also a great sounding guitar with good resonating tone. The electronics are just as good. The only problem I have encountered is I don't like the pick guard. Overall, great guitar

Great guitar

By Hillska

from Philadelphia, PA

I'm really, really pleased with this guitar. It's got a really clear, stable tone and it feels great to play. The neck isn't too thin or too thick, the controls on the control panel can give you a huge range of different sounds, and it sounds great unplugged too. I cannot recommend this guitar highly enough for those of you on a budget. There is very little buzzing on the frets, and although I changed the factory strings within a week of getting it, everything else on it is good. I've had no problems with the tuners staying in place, and the tuner (although it won't always get you spot on pitch,) will get you tuned up and ready to play. If you want a great guitar for a low price, there's not a better one out there.

Outstanding Guitar For The Bucks

By The Old Rocker

from Ohio

Received my Fender CD110Ce today. Perfect right out of the box. I just used it tonight on a Gospel Gig and it performed flawlessly. The finish is perfect and I mean perfect. The neck is wonderful and easy on the fingers, no sharp fret ends. When I picked this guitar up in my hands I knew we were going to have a great relationship. It just felt right. The action is just right for me.The electonics worked and sounded great through my PA..I have been in music for over 45 years and have played a lot of guitars, I just got rid of a more expensive guitar because it was not easy to play, this CD 110 is the BOMB. Don't let the black finish put you off,It's so sweet. Buy this guitar now and you won't be sorry.
