Comments about Fender FSR American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I received the guitar. It was set up fairly well. More than likely you will need to take the guitar to a Guitar Tech to set up and re-guadge the strings to 10's
The Back Tone Knob wouldn't turn the Delta Tone option off without stripping on the Tone Pot's Shaft...The rear Strap Button's screw was stripped out and wouldn't tighten.
Overall I would have to say that this is a great guitar for the room to practice...Great for a Beginner. The Quality is better than I thought it would be...The Paint Work was good.
The String to fret board alignment is off somewhat and you experience intonation Issues with the Low E String. This happens allot with American Standards due to the Front Neck pickup's Magnetic Pole Piece to string alignment.
Overall this is a nice guitar for a Room Player...
Unfortunately, I might just have to return this guitar and up the stakes

Comments about Fender FSR American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

Just bought the Standard in Blue...Fat 50's are nice, had them before...Mainly needed a darker tone so I went with the Rosewood Board and the Pickups.
Folks, I can tell you one thing...G&L can't come close to a Stratocaster in any dept. I've already been down that route....

Comments about Fender FSR American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

Fender really hit the nail on the head with this one. The quality is superb and the fat 50's are the best single coil fender has made for USA strats. I would highly recommended the new american FSR strats!
