I ordered the Fender GC23s and waited for weeks for the store to get it. But when it finally came, the wait was well worth it. I am a skinnier person who doesn't want a guitar that's too big for me. Dreadnaughts always gave me this problem. Then I discovered grand concert style bodies. They are smaller and fit more comfortably for smaller players such as myself. The action was great but I prefer a very low action so i adjusted it to suit my needs. The rosette could have been a little more detailed (all it is is a few lines) perhaps some nice classical styles. The pickguard is a nice maroon tortoise color that really makes the guitar look beautiful. The strings it came with were of course some horrible sounding fender strings but with a set of D'addarios on it the sound improved dramatically. I absolutely love this guitar and it sounds great when playing jazz or fingerpicking style. For a small guitar it can really project sound, sometimes better than a dreadnaught :P Overall this guitar is a good investment for both beginning guitarists or experienced guitarists. Just pick one up and try not to fall in love with it. Highly recommended.
