I just purchased this great guitar. i started doing more live performances and needed something to plug in and be reliable. its got a great pickup system and the on board tuner really comes in handy on stage! great buy for the price! even came with a nice hard case for free!
Before I bought this guitar I read lots of reviews which were very helpful, then I went to check if the reviews about the Fender acoustic were true and I was astonished at the quality of this Fender, and once plugged in the sound is so crisp and sharp, it's amazing; I couldn't wait to buy it. The price is really good. The guitar has solid wood top back and sides and for that price, this is a bargain. It gets pretty close to a Taylor.
The intonation, harmonics, and overall setup is very good, right out of the box. The action is light and clean and sound is bright and clear. I use on old (1969) Vox Berkline bass amp and it sounds great. The built in tuner and Grover keys make sure it stays in tune, even after a good long session. I previously owned a Seagull S6+ and the workmanship and overall quality of this instrument surpasses the Seagull. I haven't used it onstage yet ( I just got it) but I'm looking forward to it - I think it will work out great.
I am so glad that I made the decision to buy this guitar! Musicians Friend had these on sale when every other site had them a lot higher priced. The quality of this guitar is excellent, the finish is beautiful and it comes ready to play right out of the box. The Fishman pick-up is killer as usual. This is the guitar I have been searching for! This guitar plays like it had been set up by a guitar tech, low action easy on the fingers, comes with D'Addario EXP coated strings, wonder why Fender didn't use their own strings. Better get one while they are on sale or you will be sorry. My new number 1 guitar!! BUY ONE NOW!!!
Had to sell my Taylor 415CE and tried to find something all solid wood and with a fishmen pre-amp. Not an easy task! Then one day I was looking "as usual" online and low and behold... I saw what looked like it could be the answer to my dreams. It is! Came with a nice case, plays great sounds even better than it looks and the fishmen works great an has a built in tuner. It's not a Taylor... but it's the nicest guitar Iv ever owned for twice the bucks it cost. And Iv owned a lot of guitars!Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
I had an issue with my #1 acoustic...it cracked and I had to send it in to get repaired. I started looking for something to fill in while it's gone.I stumbled upon this guitar and I was skeptical because it was so cheap. But this is a great built guitar with awesome electronics and hardware and the tone is phenomenal.Highly reccomend this guitar as a backup...I know this won't replace my other acoustic (too much sentimental value) or as your primary guitar
This guitar has a very beautiful finish and the picture does not do it justice. However, it has a strong glue smell and the bridge pins weren?t in all the way or strait for that matter. Furthermore, there was a buzz that was consistent with the way the bridge pins were put in. The buzz should go away once I put my extra light strings on and adjust the bridge pins. Nevertheless, the sound is pretty good but it needs to age a little. My guitar was put together in the states but made in Indonesia, for what ever that is worth. I really like the look but haven?t played it very much amd am in the process of working with it more and I think it will be just fine, after some minor adjustments.
