Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo. Jazzmaster guitars slung across seminal shoulders. In the hands of both men, the sound of Sonic Youth is the sound of that guitar used as part paintbrush and part cluster bomb. Special features of the Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster include two Fender Wide Range humbucking pickups re-voiced to original vintage spec, black anodized pickguard, American Vintage Jazzmaster tremolo with Mustang bridge and tremolo lock button, single master volume control, and a Sapphire Blue Transparent satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and black-painted headstock, plus a Sonic Youth 'zine and sticker sheet.

Comments about Fender Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster Electric Guitar:

This guitar is perfect. I love the way jaguars and jazzmasters feel, but they have so many controls, and this guitar is a stripped down version of an already awesome guitar. I rarely say this but in this situation, it appropriate. "it's like butter." I get that perfect guitar tone that I hear in my head when i play this guitar. If i had the money to spend on this, I would buy it in a second. If you have the means, i would recommend picking one up.
