OVERVIEW

A unique combination of classic Fender style and features.

Longtime T.S.O.L. guitarist Ron Emory has infused some truly distinctive Fender acoustic guitars with his years of SoCal-punk cred and expertise. Among the latest and greatest is the new Ron Emory "Loyalty" Parlor model, in which he has combined his favorite features from several guitars in his large collection to create a small-bodied and eminently affordable model.

The Ron Emory "Loyalty" Parlor guitar features the classic parlor body shape and is available in two versions-one with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and a vintage-style sunburst finish reminiscent of the 1930s; the other with an all-ash body, maple neck and butterscotch-stain finish resembling his '52 Telecaster. Both versions feature quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing, elegant herringbone body binding and rosette, soft "V" neck profile and aged neck binding, rosewood fingerboard with diamond inlays and 12th-fret "Loyalty" logo, 19 large vintage-style frets, 1970s-style Fender headstock, three-ply pickguard, vintage-style rosewood "Viking" bridge with Graphtech Nubone compensated saddle, and open-gear tuners.

  • Laminated mahogany (sunburst) or ash (butterscotch) top & body

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

Just started lessons and my teacher recommended I look for a Parlor-size guitar. I chose this one and it got high praise from my teacher. It was in tune right out of the box and is still so. The size makes it easy to handle and to practice. Looks cool too! I chatted with a musician's friend staff member and ordered the RR2PAG Boulevard gig case -- it fits this size guitar perfectly. My overall experience (and first time interaction) with this company has been terrific. Since then I've ordered a music stand and a guitar stand --- and will keep this company in mind should I need anything else.

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

I played a friend's, he likes it, but it wasn't even close to the inexpensive little Aria I bought on here... It felt good, just no volume at all. If you get a dud, sent it back.

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

I've been playing for 40 years - all kinds of music. I had a Recording King Dirty Thirties which was nice but gave it to a girl I was giving lessons to. So, I wanted another parlor and thought I'd try this one. I personally don't care for the lacquered look, but this is a beautiful guitar and plays and sounds wonderful. All I had to do was tune it. If you've never tried one, do your self a favor. What have you got to lose?

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

I have not been a fan of Chinese built guitars. This one has changed my mind. Flawless finish, great looking, spot on intonation, rich sound. It has exceeded my expectations. My expensive acoustic guitar is being neglected. I can't and don't want to put this one down. Excellent all around. Bravo Fender!

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

The finish and details on mine were perfect. The action is set nice and low. It has much to love...comfortable soft V neck, well dressed frets, intonation true to 12th, and more. The tone and resonance are unexpectedly good, and the guitar is just too fun to put down. At this price, this guitar is a steal. Get one while you can.

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

Absolutely the best sounding and fest feeling parlor guitar I've ever played. The action is amazing for its price, much better than some of the more expensive guitars I've owned. The volume is very surprising for its size, much louder than I thought it would be, especially compared to other parlor guitars. I actually think I won't be using a full sized guitar for a while since I've found this one, its that comfortable and fun to play.

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

This is the first new acoustic I've bought in years and I am totally happy! The playability and feel far surpasses many of the much more expensive guitars I have played (with the tiniest of truss rod adjustments) and the sound is killer! I tend to play lead for other guitarists playing guilds and taylors and they can't believe the tone I get with this little Fender. Be advised most club sound men nowadays have never had to mic an acoustic, but I bring a Beta 57 and we're good to go!

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

I purchased the Vintage Sunburst model and it looks great. It looks like a 1930's vintage blues box.
The guitar is very comfortable to play and was set up nicely right out of the box. I've been playing the Blues for 35 yrs. and I have to say that the Ron Emory Parlor is a good quality guitar and I would buy one again without hesitation.
