OVERVIEW

A unique combination of classic Fender style and features with Fishman electronics.

Longtime T.S.O.L. guitarist Ron Emory has infused some truly distinctive Fender acoustic guitars with his years of SoCal-punk cred and expertise. Among the latest and greatest is the new Ron Emory "Loyalty" Slope-Shoulder Dreadnought, in which he has combined his favorite features from several guitars in his large collection to create a stylish and eminently affordable model.

The Ron Emory "Loyalty" Slope-Shoulder Dreadnought is available in two versions-one with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and a vintage-style sunburst finish reminiscent of the 1930s; the other with an all-ash body, maple neck and butterscotch-stain finish resembling his '52 Telecaster. Both versions feature quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing, elegant herringbone body binding and rosette, soft "V" neck profile and aged neck binding, rosewood fingerboard with diamond inlays and 12th-fret "Loyalty" logo, 20 large vintage-style frets, 1970s-style Fender headstock, three-ply pickguard, vintage-style rosewood "Viking" bridge with Graphtech Nubone compensated saddle, open-gear tuners, and Fishman Isys III pickup/active preamp system with built-in chromatic tuner, on/off switch, three-band EQ and volume control.

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Slope Shoulder Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I went out in a limb with this one. I was originally looking at getting a Takamine G series, however I could never find one I liked. So I went on looking at Brands that I can trust more than others. When browsing this site, this guitar caught my eye. The design is very nice, and even better in person. I ordered this right when I was looking at the specks and decided to order it (with a warranty of course just in case I wasn't satisfied or came in warped due to the summer heat)
The wait was long but well worth it. When it came out of the box it was nearly in tune and there was no warp damage (one of the strings did come in a bit frayed) but in all very fine. This guitar has a very neck, feel and sound. Everything about this guitar very nice for the price it is. It's not Taylor, but I am very glad I chose this over getting a Takamine. The only thing I had to do was very slightly lower the action for it.
This guitar in all is very worth your investment, especially someone like me that wanted something nice for not a lot of money. I very highly recommend it.
(disclaimer: It is made in China, however is was very well crafted. I was skeptical myself when I heard this, but playing this thing took away any doubts!)

Comments about Fender Ron Emory Loyalty Slope Shoulder Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

when i opened the box it was breath taking. you know pictures never do a guitar justice i got the vintage sunburst. i tuned it up real quick and hit a chord. buzz. i noticed the action was low too low. it needed some relief in the neck. that helped. then i put some new strings on it. d' addario phosphor bronze light. that did the trick. now its a warm smooth sounding tone machine. not muddy. just warm and balanced. and combined with the looks of it and the fact its an acoustic electric there isn't a thing it cant do
