This is a really nice guitar. It's amazing how Fender can keep prices reasonable on instruments of this quality.
The Amber with Quilted Maple is absolutely stunning. With the 'bone' border on the body and neck, and the in-lay on the headstock, around the sound hole, and on the 12th. fret---just gorgeous.
I switched out the black bridge pins for bone, to match the border (just a personal preference) and it is eye popping.
Mine came with the action WAY too high, and the Rosewood fretboard WAY too dry (this is why 4 stars and not 5). Musicians Friend do not "set-up" instruments, so this doesn't reflect on them...but you'd think Fender (regardless of over-sea's, south of the border, or California) would care how their instruments are set-up before leaving the plant.
And I am not sure how the Rosewood could be so dry even stored in a box for 5 or 6 months. I took the strings off and applied FOUR coats of Lemon Oil before it stopped absorbing---that is ridiculous! Rosewood is fantastic...but only if it's taken care of.

The Fender Dura-Tone Coated 80/20 Bronze strings are amazingly crisp, and absolutely belong on this guitar. I kept the original strings for the first time in my 33 years of buying/playing guitars. I also purchased another set for back-up...I intend to stay with these strings.

The Fishman electronics definitely live up to their reputation as one of the best in the business. Playing plugged in, keep the volume on the guitar toward the low side, and turn up the amp or you might get a little distorted---but other than that, it works and sounds great. Built in tuner is dead on too...I checked against external tuners, and there is no difference.

Great guitar. Both looks and sound. I would definitely recommend.

Got this guitar about a year and a half ago, finish was really beautiful, stock strings we bad as expected, with new strings guitar became alive.
Got it setup real nice but guitar still had a bit of fret buzz, I don't know why but fret buzz got worse with time. I only did a few gigs with this guitar before selling it.

This guitar is good for beginners and to practice.

This is a great guitar. Just remember to take the 9V battery out of its compartment and stow it in the case between gigs. Then your good to go.

I bought this guitar on an impulse at guitar center 3 years ago, and I love it. I beat the hell out of this thing, for example I had it in a soft case worn as a backpack, and I was skating to where I was going to jam and I crashed and landed on my back. The guitar suffered some scratches and a small chunk of headstock lost, and it still kicks Butt! Still stays in tune, and sounds great. Put some Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze strings on it and it is beautiful

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 300 CE Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Dreadnought Guitar:

Really nice guitar for the budget. The guitar sounds really good, no matter it is a chinese Fender. I bought idem last year for my son and he really love this guitar sound and strings, still sounds like first day.
There is nothing to complain about, good deal for sure.
I am from overseas, and it is nice Musicians did not charge me taxes on the price. Last year I had not the time to buy through the web, so I went to a Guitar Center store and they charge me the taxes (no matter the price was so similar really), so this is a good tip to consider for overseas clients.

I just traded for a sunburst t-bucket guitar from a good friend. I have no idea why he didn't like it, but I love it! The neck is just right for my small hands & the sound both plugged & unplugged is fantastic. EVERY musician has that certain feel & sound they want. This guitar has both for me. I had to lower the action a bit, but I'm seriously glad my friend & I made a trade. This guitar now has a permanent home.
