An iconic guitar for the left-handed aficionado.
Left-handed guitars are not always easy to find, iconic left-handed guitars can be impossible at times. Feast your eyes if for only a moment on the Gibson Memphis Limited Edition left-handed 1963 ES-335.
Available for only a limited time, this special guitar features all of the specs as produced in 1958 including a maple/poplar/maple body supported by Adirondack spruce bracing attached to the top with tone-enhancing hide glue. A '60s Slim Taper genuine mahogany neck nestles into the mortise and tenon pocket within .002 tolerance for maximum end to end resonance and added sustain.
A 1.707" bone nut sits atop the 12" radius benders dream rosewood fingerboard, with 22 perfectly trued medium jumbo Pleked frets among the 24.75" scale length. The fingerboard is finished off with the early '60s small block inlays that replicate the originals not only in dimension, but also in the celluloid used to create the inlays.
Twin Memphis Historic Spec Humbucking pickups are voiced through four perfectly hand-matched pots and adjusted via unbalanced tone monster Orange Drop capacitors and the in-demand Memphis Tone Circuit.
The visual beauty of Gibson Memphis Sixties Cherry nitrocellulose lacquer finish is unmistakable visually, but old world lacquer also enhances tone production and matures with age. A labor intensive finish not found on many modern guitars any more, but featured on every Gibson stringed instrument.
This Gibson Limited Edition comes with a Gibson Hardshell Case and Gibson's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
