Comments about Gibson 2014 Firebird Electric Guitar:

The Gibson Firebird was perfect right out of the box. Beautiful finish, nice thin body and great vintage tone with my VOX AC30.

Really fun to play! So beautiful, I named it after my wife.

Comments about Gibson 2014 Firebird Electric Guitar:

I had some issues ordering this online. Fortunately Musicians Friend was patient with me and I exchanged a firebird with neck issues with a good one. I liked the guitar even though the local guitar tech said the frets needed some work. Long story short I had him level a couple frets and even out the nut so that all the strings started at the same height abover the fretboard. Not a big deal, I expect every new guitar to have a trip to the luthier. I did not care for the high output pickups, but some guys do. I replaced them with the Seymour Duncan antiquities and I prefer them. The guitar is very unique, and has a different voice and a totally different feel than my other Gibsons, Gretches and Fenders. I still want to play it everyday and the "new guitar" syndrome usually wears off much quicker, so that tells you something. I really like the Steinberger tuners. The Firebird is large and you'll have to be careful when it's attached to you but it has a great sustain and upper fret access is super easy. I would say if you have a les paul or two and a hollow body, it's time to go down a completley new path and try a Firebird. Or maybe you'll prefer a V or an explorer. I can't comment on those guys but I will say the neck through and the mini hums give this guitar a unique voice that has a place in your guitarsenal.

      Shipped in two days.
Was hesitant to buy online without handling/playing it first but I could not be happier.
Delivered in mint condition, it rocks, love the feel, tone and the looks, have no regrets would buy it again.
