Comments about Gibson 2015 LPM Commemorative Electric Guitar:

Ordered the cherry LPM since it was a typical great MF deal. Guitar arrived- looked great sounded great and set up well. In 2015 Gibson made the necks wider to accomodate the zero fret nut. I plugged in tuned up and was pleased with the great Gibson tone . However, the extra neck width just didnt feel right after playing for hours. I returned it. The Hardshell case is sweet though. If you can play one of these and like the neck this is an unbelievable bargain - a real Gibson and a great hard case for the price of many chinese guitars. It just wasnt for me. Bought a Faded studio and cant put it down!!!

Comments about Gibson 2015 LPM Commemorative Electric Guitar:

I have ordered Gibsons before and been utterly disappointed. Two grand for hacked up wood? The LPM is what it is. It plays so smooth and sounds so lovely. The headstock signature isn't as bad as other reviews make it out to be and the extra neck width isn't a hindrance at all. The build quality isn't perfect but leaps and bounds better than other gibbys I've seen. For the price it cant be beat. Comes with a hardshell case. The lower end 2016's are priced about the same but come with a gig bag. Overall I love this guitar and can hopefully get another one before they are gone.
