Based on scans of Trini Lopez's personal guitar, this semi-hollowbody has an authentic vintage feel from its chunky neck profile to the trapeze tailpiece. Now you can experience what it was like to play the revolutionary instrument that inspired a generation.
Iconic semi-hollowbody design and vintage finishes
The 1964 Trini Lopez Standard Reissue VOS semi-hollowbody has the same double-cutaway maple body and mahogany neck as the original. Its rounded neck profile feels comfortable and familiar in your hands. The vintage nitrocellulose lacquer finish in '60s Cherry lovingly recreates the look of a well-played vintage instrument. Time has given this finish a distinctive patina and hue that modern polyurethane can never replicate.
Premium tonewoods for resonance and sustain
The maple top, back and sides provide clarity and articulation, while the mahogany neck adds warmth and richness.
