I love the Les Paul chunky sound...lite weight and simple looks in this Goldtop LP.
I have had this Gibson model over two years now and it has been great in the studio or live. The bridge needs tweaking, but its a simple job. Overall it is my favorite of my gibsons and other guitars.
It's just a best buy for the money. Considering it is a gibson it's not that expensive and the quality and tone of this instrument is simply incredible. The tone is great it can play anything from blues to metallica hard rock! Pick it up if you can.
I've owned this guitar for about 6 months, and I am very pleased with the feel and comfort of this instrument. The LPDC can cover a multitude of styles. The neck also is very reminiscent of some of my earlier Gibsons, Which I really like.Well done!
I bought this gold-topped beauty to sit alongside my other double cut Les Paul, only it has P-90's. I wasn't disappointed. I knew just what i was getting into, a slighty thicker sound, and a lil' more sing, that's exactly what I got. Don't miss this guitar! It's a great mix up in sound when sitting alongside a single coil equipped axe.
Fastest feeling guitar I have ever played. Same great Gibson feel and sound with an extra cut and two more frets to hit those high notes. Beautiful.
the top 12 frets sound bad!
It's great I love it. Awesome vintage tone!
