Gibson

This is one of the most popular incarnations of the legendary SG.

The Gibson SG Standard Left-Handed Electric Guitar is It takes the best of the '62 original and adds the longer and sturdier neck joint of the late '60s models. Includes all the classic features you'd expect from a historic guitar. Original 490 Series humbuckers go from rich, sweet lightning to warm, tingling waves of sustain. A silky-fast rosewood fretboard plays like a dream. The original-style beveled mahogany body looks like a million bucks. Plus, there's an ABR bridge and chrome hardware. Why not play a true legend?

It's nice to have an SG again.   Like all the others I've had, I don't want to change anything.  It holds tune well and the pickups sound great.   I got mine used from here and the only things I could find were some scratches on the back and some dust on it.    Practically brand new.    I saw the price and decided it was time to get a nice guitar again.   It plays like a dream too, low action, light weight, nice cutting tone.    A very nice complement to my other guitars.    And it even smells nice too.   Sounds odd, but if you have one you know what I mean.

being a lefty sucks when it comes to guitars but this one is well worth it. you can probably even get one used off ebay for under a grand if you wanted. long neck plays well, took a min to get adjusted to the narrow frets, easy axis to the high frets. body is light but still has sustain. i upgraded the pups because mine were old and had gone micro-phonic. its a great guitar and had been my work horse for along time.

Guitar arrived within 5 days of ordering. Opened the case for the first time and was awe-struck! Absolutely beautiful and flawless, fanastic quality control. The pics don't do it justice as the wood grain does show through, and its smokin hot! Beautiful instrument, well built, plays straight from the moment it arrived with low action and not one dead spot or buzzing anywhere on the neck. P'ups sound great, and it is suprisingly light, I could wear this baby all day. In my 20 years of playing, this is the ONLY guitar I've purchased wherein I did not want to change, modify, replace or upgrade anything. Simply pleased, way to go Gibson! If you can't afford it now, finance it! After playing my SG, I regret all the junk I've purchased over the years!!!
