The G&L ASAT Classic is Leo’s final word on the traditional single-cutaway bolt-on axe. Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil Magnetic Field Design bridge pickup created by Leo Fender delivers crisp attack with complex harmonics while individual brass saddles offer modern levels of intonation refinement. Flip to the single-coil MFD neck pickup and you’ll discover a delectably rich tonal palette, from round clean jazz tones to thick, gritty blues. Put them together and you’ll find a whole other level of heaven.

this guitar has such great feel and tone, i use roto reds and a VOX ac15c1 the two are one(vox)voice. I use it at church and home and other venues and i play lead, the front switch great rythym tone. throw the lever back and let her eat!!! whether dirty or clean she comes through with a great sound. Leo Fender wanted to take his original sound and put it back out there, here it is!!!!!!!!! BUY ONE! if your not a lefty like me and you got$$$$$ get a Bluesboy- just a step up. I have friends who leave their custom shop Fender tele's at home and bring the G&L's just because it dont say Fender, man dont let that get to you its more Fender than any new model made now in my book. so keep rockin and if your curious try a g&l it will not disapoint, i promise
