Don't let the entry-level price fool you.

The incredibly comfortable, hand-finished neck and chambered body are worthy of a much more expensive instrument. The silverleaf maple body and 24-3/4" scale create superb playability, feel, and warmth. Rock maple neck available with rosewood or maple fingerboard. Each of the 2 Godin single-coil pickups is wired to its own volume control to make tweaking your tone that much easier.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

Features

  • Rock maple neck
  • Rosewood or maple fingerboard
  • 12" fingerboard radius
  • 24-3/4" scale

Quality-Beauty-Value

By Bob Schur

from Tampa Bay, FL area

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

An amazingly playable multi-purpose guitar for gigs that call for many music styles. Very comfortable neck that goes easily up to the full second ocatve. Low string clearance anywhere along the fretboard allows for the lightest of fingering. Clear tones in any combination of pick-up settings. Tuners hold nicely and turn smoothly. Sophisticated retro looks that blend nicely into whatever you're wearing from denim to tux. Solid quality yet without the poundage. Of my many guitars, this one jumped right into my top 3.
The Godin pick-up are truly hot for pop, Latin, jazz, etc. They may not meet slashers standards but then I don't play bone-crushingly loud music. Volume and Tone controls are smooth and accurate, enabling a nice variety of tonal possibilities. Neck is straight and solid. All fittings are assembled with precision.
As good or better that guitars I've paid triple the price for.
I don't know how this guitar isn't going for hundreds more.

Best Guitar Value Ever

By Savvy

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

I went into a guitar shop with some junky gear and I was looking for a newer guitar with a sound I didn't have. This was it! This thing sounds better than any telecaster I've played and the cleans are CLEAN. I love this guitar! PS....After trade ins I only paid 50 bucks for it.

Top of my collection

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

This guitar has many magnificent aspects for such a low priced guitar. First, the neck is hard rock maple from Canada, with a silky feel. Second, the body looks beautiful and unique. Third, Godin manufactures top of the line products, so you cannot go wrong buying from them. Do not worry about the "Twang" sound, for it is not evident unless you adjust the settings. Videos on you- tube can give you a vague idea of the sound. Trust me though, BUY THIS!

Cool Sounds hot indeed

By T. Ourettes

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

The fit and finish is perfect, which is the norm for Godin quality! The sound is fat and full yet clear, not at all weak or tinny like a strat... more p90-ish than expected, which is great! Great feeling neck, the action and intonation are right on for me with MF 10's.

Not bad at all..

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

This was my first electric that I got second hand 8 years ago. I didn't know much about guitars back then. But got it because it was gorgeous, plus it played & felt like butter compared to the others I tried. It's got lot's of tone, the neck is fast and action is low. And though it can handle almost any style of music, I'd recommend something with Humbuckers for a louder presence and better harmonics for playing metal. This is more of a classic Rock/Jazz guitar.

Bang for the Buck

By KenF

from Staten Island, NY

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

This guitar sounds more like a Telecaster than my actual Telecaster. You can tell from the sound that it has a bolt neck and single-coil pickups. Way lighter than a Tele, and more flexible. Very cool retro look - mine is a bright aqua with white pickguard. Records great - especially rhythm parts. Worth every penny!

This is a rare jem!

By Babazull

from S. Florida

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

Transistor radios need not apply, this is meant to be played through tubes...wonderful tone. Awesome neck. It really likes flat wound jazz strings. Could use a different bridge or at least a strings-through-body bridge. All in all it's extremely hard to beat for the price. Sure, you could buy a crappy Epiphone (I have an original 54' Emperor) for the price but why would you when you can have one of these?

well, it works.

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

I had a godin just like this afew years back. the looks are awesome but if you care more about sound quality over looks i recommend you look for another guitar. it's very lightweight and small whitch is nice. the major setback was that the pickups would get that clicking sound of the pick hitting the oversized pick guard. looks cool but you can do better for the money.

Awesome guitar

By Cob

from a small town...

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

The clean tone on this guitar is AMAZING. Use the bridge pickup and a tiny bit of reverb and tone through a decent amp and you'll know what I mean. Distorted it sounds good but is not the best. VERY tough guitar, my only complaints is a slightly lose pickup and pitch wobble when you pull the neck, which isn't a problem at all. super cool pickguard :) looks better with maple fingerboard.

Love it or hate it, probably love it

By Watermelonman

Comments about Godin Radiator Electric Guitar:

I have one of these, and first of all, the looks. There beautiful, although i prefer the black pickgaurd, but i own a white one, its great for lighting and things, it just shimmers on everything. This guitar does not have a switch so you might find it odd when you want to switch pickups, but it got a great sound, you can imitate a les paul or a gretch with it. It is extrememly light and just agreat guitar
