A signature model Gretsch that updates the legendary Jet!
The Elliot Easton signature guitar features vintage Duo Jet style with ultra-pro refinements courtesy of Elliot and Gretsch. Its updates include Sperzel locking tuners with small vintage tuning keys, 25" scale length, graphite nut, 2 alnico-magnet Filter'Tron pickups, and a Tune-O-Matic bridge. You also get custom touches like a master volume control with no loss of highs at lower volumes, a pickup selector switch that's closer to the strumming hand, and a tone switch with a distinctive, midrange lead voice. It has the '50s-style narrow headstock, 2-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard, neoclassical thumbnail position markers, and a semi-hollow mahogany body with an arched maple top. It's a unique hybrid that keeps the vintage Gretsch look and sound with special custom touches and added versatility.

I'm so glad I was able to purchase one of these fantastic Gretsch guitars. This guitar plays great right out of the box. It really nice looking axe I do have to say the Japanese do a real great job in building a guitar. The tone is great just like a classic Gretsch. I wish to thank Musicians Friend for making this possible they were able to buy up these discontinued Elliot Easton Models and make it affordable for me to purchase it. I always wanted to have a Gretsch in my collection. They are really are a musicians Friend. A great guitar at a Great price Thanks!
Just got the Elliot Easton in green. The color is perfect, web site doesn't do it justice. Absolutely no flaws in the finish, bindings, or in-lays. The gold hardware on the green is truly classic. The sound is pure with great sustain. The tone is full and rich. The Bigsby is rock solid and the Sperzels from the factory is the best bet. I have a USA Fender that is great but this is in a new league. Highly recommended.
